Multiboxing is out of control

Thanks for the answer… /ignored

I really dont see the problem with putting a server out there that doesnt allow multiboxers. Let the people decide if they want to play with boxers or not. I’m not calling for an end to boxing, only the option to play an mmorpg where one person controls one character.

the final word is this…
NO ONE IN HERE has any authority to change anything.
So you all are wasting your energy screaming at PLAYERS who have no influence over the people who DO who also said this…

Your entire argument is with THEM…so you really should take it TO them.

Im sure there are games that do. Try ESO. Not sure how they would be able to MB over there given how the launcher works.

And as I’ve said, are you preparing the ROI analysis to cover coding a policing routine and standing up these 1:1 player:character servers?

So you would be ok with a server that doesnt allow boxing and let people make up their own decisions on where they want to play?

That and ESO has a hardline stance prohibiting it, unlike WoW.

heh…I would be ok with ONE server being like that so YOU all could go segregate since you like that idea so much.
But telling others THEY have to change for YOU…just no.

This exchange has been VERY telling and enlightening.
You can learn a lot about the entire person from a simple discussion on a single, meaningless topic most of the time.

ah…that might be why I couldnt get it to work then
I thought id try it a while back. Cant even get a second launcher to fire up and there is no way I could find to start a second account with it, like how WoWs launcher shows your list of WoW accounts.

good to know.

Not really sure where this is coming from and what it has to do with a hypothetical arguement of whether or not people have the option to avoid boxers.

Also, it doesnt seem like blizzard has any problems risking resources to make their fanbases happy. Classic happened and it was a huge success. Maybe they should pay attention to the hundreds of threads in their forums asking to be free of boxers. There’s definitely an interest.

ie…put players in the back of the bus who I dont like.
Better that you all segregate yourselves, not trying to force would could very likely be a vast majority who may NOT CARE about MBing to have to cater to you.

huh…yeah…which is why that ‘in combat’ bug hasnt been fixed yet.
Theyre really free with the $$$ to fix anything on a players whim, for sure.

Hey xaz no offense but I gotta let you go buddy. It’s hard to take someone serious when they keep referring to the topic at hand like its 1950’s racism and African apartheid.

Can we also have a server that prohibits grouping up since that also provides an unfair advantage towards solo players?

Same, we have about a couple sets of multiboxers here too, at first it started off with 2-3, then they bought tokens for 4-5, now it’s at the point where they’ve capped it so all nodes instantly despawn and as a alchemist i went from being able to farm 200 zinathid in half a hour and take a break, to now struggling to get less than a half or third of that. Everything is depleted and i’ve resorted to wm to attempt to break them but the other people always pile on when you get the multiboxers down. I wish i could get the pvp toy to fight the multiboxers since killing their 10 man 180k hp druid is a free assassin when they have little code eto fight back. But then ther’es always like 4 pallies accomplying them that they use to chainstun and random people that gang up when you attack them. Nearly impossible to get 20 kills straight for the toy.

That would be a bit silly considering wow is an mmo and the game is primarily designed around group content.

So, equally as silly as a non-multiboxing server.

Not really, you’re comparing apples to oranges.

They both give advantages over solo players.

One advatanage is formed organically, the other is use of 3rd party programs that exist outside the game (unlike addons).

So we should have a server for people who refuse to use third-party voice apps?
