It isn’t going to make a difference, OP would still end up dead - maybe 2 seconds later.
It does make a difference. With humans the op is able to call for help while hes getting chased and working to stay alive while a group of humans works to gather around each other and give chase. It takes time and allows for a natural response.
With the mb bots you are dead in 1 ms. No response time. All the mbers are in one millimeter from each other and reacting within one millisecond from each other moving as drones instead of as humans that spread apart. No natural response time allowed. Its disgusting.
people who play together for any length of time don’t need to communicate with each other when they see a pvp target - I am not sure what content you are doing where you think it takes more than 1 second for a player to respond.
This just in… Multiboxers are inhumane! You monsters.
This has a really good chance to unseat ‘jumbo shrimp’ as the dumbest phrase ever uttered.
As the rules are currently written the answer is never.
What most people won’t say about the state of MBing is that when it first came to WoW Blizzard was like “Eh, it’s really niche because it’s a bit complicated, it’s expensive, requires a strong computer, and only a few certain classes even excel at it. Plus it’s a huge time investment and the only real reason people are doing it is to blast people in BGs, and ALSO having half or a third of your team controlled by one person is actually kind of a disadvantage. We’re fine with it”
And the community has ran with that reasoning in spite of the fact that the game has changed so much and that a lot of the barriers surrounding MBing has diminished or outright been removed.
Meanwhile there is a 1950s manufacturing video i posted earlier where the same exact phrase was used when a person was managing machines that handle automated responses based on human input. So historically I am using the term correctly regardless of your dispute. It is semi automatic automation.
Nah people require a lot more time to respond to information than computers. In no way can a group of humans respond and act within 1 ms to kill someone by sending 40 spells in one click. People that play together do obviously get used to it but they still are human and are limited to human response times.
Over 24 hours later and I see the same supporters in here agreeing with themselves on their alts and liking their alts posts.
And they try gaslighting those against. Does not compute.
Can multiboxers have all their accounts cast a spell simultaneously (e.g., Starsurge), or do they have to alt + tab and do it for each account? For instance, if I have 10 druids, can I push “1” and have starsurge cast on all accounts if I am just tabbed into one WoW, or would I cast it in one WoW tab and then have to alt + tab into a second WoW tab?
lol, 1ms speed isn’t required to kill a lone player nor 40 spells. A lone player isn’t going to get away from 5 players let alone 12. I know I have done wPvP in a 5 man group for some content this expansion and never once did one player get away in that situation.
If you have it set up, each client window will receive that “1” command and cast Starsurge.
Okay, thanks for the information. That does seem kind of like a grey area, but at the same time, it seems fun, too, if I’m being truthful. lol.
Blizzard’s justification is that you get one action per button press per client window.
So when you press “1” to cast Starsurge, each Druid casts Starsurge and nothing else. They don’t perform any additional actions or move on their own.
Okay, cool. I didn’t know how it fully worked. Thanks for the clarification; I appreciate it.
Khrude fighting in Mechanon today. Lots of alliance. Khrude halfway killed elite! Den alliance came and stole Khrude’s tag. Khrude not sure how dat possible, but it do.
Its wrong and unnatural. This is what kills the world pvp game mode for many.
Dk Multiboxer example
P1: Hey Guys theres a multiboxing DK with 39 other DK Automated Drones can you help me?
Guildies: Nah bro not interested. They just auto kill everything around them. Its not fun.
Organic People Oriented PvP
P1: Hey Guys theres a bunch of Alliance here. Can you come and help out?
Guildies: Heck yea I love killing alliance.
Multiboxers ruin this game and need to be removed. I am not calling for bans right now just a change of rule and direction from Blizzard that can lead to bans after the change is implemented.
And this complaint is not new. It has been out there as long as multiboxers have been out there and every passing expansion the situation just becomes worse where now people actively blame you for even turning on world pvp when you get ganked by 40 multiboxing drones instead of acknowledging the issues. That too is also not new. Blizzard already knows this is a grey area even for them. We are still waiting on Blizzard to make a firm decision banning this unbalanced practice.
If getting killed ruins wPvP for people then they can turn off warmode.
I thought OP was killed instantly. How are they going to type that out? Also why are you all of a sudden talking about 40 man multi boxer raids - you appear to have only started playing this game a few years ago but that is extremely rare.
Its not about getting killed or not. Its about having a chance to fight back. Most people dont bother fighting back against multiboxers because the multiboxers can target the same person and kill them within 1 ms while a human party would need to communicate and plan things out on a personal level which takes more time. Its not worth it to fight back against multiboxers because they have an advantage over any human group that does not multibox and its not a fun experience.
Fighting against the other faction in groups is fun when its humans v humans.
When its humans v Drones its not fun
I don’t fight back when I am up against 3 other players. I don’t see the problem with multi boxers, at least you are going to die quicker.
I came from pvp servers where we would fight back. We would call our guildies and friends and spend time fighting in the open world with them. Then that would cause the 3 person group to call their friends. It was great and organic pvp. Anytime a multiboxer is fighting in the real world people dont want to bother because its not worth it. Multiboxers generally always live and kill everything while people cannot compete because we cannot communicate the same way an automated program does
