Multiboxing = Cheating

Another great day of multi boxing, just ran 2 teams through heroic darkshore and can’t wait to flood the AH with low price materials keeping the botters / AH price gougers in check.

thanks!

you guys are like the people who think they’ve found some incredible new legal loophole because they looked a word up in Black’s law dictionary and one of the definitions can kind of be twisted to support their argument

they (and you) ignore all evidence to the contrary (in their case, case law; in your case, the people who make the rules saying you’re wrong) and just keep insisting they’re right for the same idiotic reason

Your link has nothing whatsoever to do with multiboxing.

Wrong to both. Try again when you’ve actually read the EULA for once.

Brother… I don’t think the OP will be back for a while.

Maybe that will finally give him some time to read the EULA and do some research on multiboxing.

One can hope. I’m sure he’ll be digging through those botter docs to see if he missed any cut and paste.

Thank you for your service.

I’m thinking the same.

That’s very kind of you to keep this simple and short and so I will do the same.

You don’t own this game, Blizzard has a guide on how to MB, Blizzard has decided it is not cheating and so it is not.

It really is that simple. If you want to change their mind? Then you should take a different approach other than telling them they don’t know their own TOS.

Actually, not entirely correct. The support article just shows how to launch multiple clients at once. It doesn’t show you how to multibox. You’ll have to refer to outside sources for that. As of now, Blizzard says that it doesn’t violate the Terms of Use, just they don’t support the play style and tools to do it with.

I guess it’s the same to me - condoning it and pretty much showing you how to accomplish it. /follow is not that hard from there and requires not outside sources - it’s in the game! (and I don’t even MB).

And you know Grumbles it’s no lie. I of course can’t speak for all servers except my own. We do however have a MB here who is on another server saying he does exactly what I stated.

Though let’s look at it. OP and others QQ the an MB can collect 5… 10 times the amount of mats one person can. The MB has no need to post his mats at silly high prices. They can under cut the lowest bidding price and still make more gold by sheer numbers.

I got about 3 MultiBoxers (I think) on my server. They are quite nice guys. If you manage to catch them on the their farming run, the’ll allow to you tag along. It’s also a good way to get some of those pesky pvp quests done when you cannot get a normal group together.

Sorry, games are played by the community, they can set the procedent as much as the game maker. If the community at large states it is cheating and not welcome, then it is so.

and yet after 15 years, Blizzard hasn’t changed their stance on it…

Multi-boxing isn’t against TOS

Yeah, I know a few on 3 different servers. They’re not the big bad everyone seems to think.
