Multiboxing = Cheating

Doesn’t everyone else in this game do that too? I for one do. If you find something at a low price or on a mob that you know that can sell higher, why not take advantage of it? And perfectly within the rights of the game to do as well.

well apparently according to the argumentative tauren, it means you’re a botter

or a multiboxer. or maybe both? idk

I multi-box on a daily basis, I have as much right to play as you do in our game. You aren’t here to have a respectful conversation and debate. The only thing I’ve seen you do to others in this thread is to bait and be absolutely disrespectful in every sense of the word.

I don’t troll on here, I don’t troll on the internet. I’ve taken the time to carefully read this entire thread. I’ve done my research and have come to the conclusion that you aren’t looking to have a conversation. You are looking to get under the skin of those that:

A. Multi-box
B. Disagree with you

Based on your responses all throughout this entire thread, that’s all I’ve seen you do. Then after you’ve baited people into biting, you then threaten to report them for trolling and slandering you. That’s absolutely ridiculous of you.

You call every single person that multi-boxes a botter. They are not one in the same. You know for a fact yourself that they are not one in the same. Even according to Blizzard and their own EULA, it is not one in the same.

Yet all I’ve heard you say throughout the entire thread is defaming anyone that chooses to multi-box.

You call us cheaters, botters, gold sellers, boosters and many other things.

I take offense to it because I absolutely detest it when someone lies and clumps me into a group of labeled people like that.

Here’s the truth… I multi-box because I enjoy leveling myself through dungeons. I don’t have to wait for queues and I get to avoid any one that may feel like trolling. Some days I just want to play alone and not with others, this playstyle gives me that freedom and I enjoy that playstyle immensely.

I don’t PVP, I don’t even farm herbs and ores very often.

The fact that you infuriated me enough to even explain myself simply tells me that the only reason you keep responding to this thread and made it in the first place is because you despise multi-boxing so much that your enjoyment is to bait people like me into going back-and-forth with you.

I’ve been playing for nearly 15 years. I’ve never once been muted, banned, blocked, suspended and I’ve almost never taken a break from WoW. I’ve been nothing but a loyal and respectful customer of Blizzard’s for many years.

Before I even went into this new venture of multi-boxing four months ago, I made sure to do my due diligence. I did my research, I studied up on it to see if it was even something I’d be able to do without much hassle.

When doing my research, I also had to make sure what I was doing was allowed by Blizzard. I mean, I’ve known for years that multi-boxing is allowed, but I wanted to speak to several GMs myself and get a more clearer picture.

The truth is, multi-boxing is allowed, but so are certain 3rd party apps such as ISBoxer, which I use on a daily basis when I multi-box on a daily basis.

You cannot be banned for multi-boxing or for using key-replication software. That is not against their rules and the EULA. Believe me, researching before taking that endeavor is something I made sure to do.

So yes, I did pay for five more copies of Battle for Azeroth, five copies of Shadowlands, so I now have six accounts. I also purchased six months of game time for each of them. Not with gold, but hard earned money that I’ve busted my butt for over the years.

I went into this new venture of multi-boxing because I have unlimited amounts of free time due to, “life happening”, so I am now out of work.

I respect anyone that dislikes multi-boxing, multi-boxers and I respect them to discuss their opinions, share their feedback, show Blizzard their disdain for it.

What I do dislike and do not respect is when someone calls me a cheater, calls me a botter, calls me a gold seller and says I should be banned for life and no one would miss me. All because I choose a playstyle that is allowed by Blizzard. It’s been allowed by Blizzard since 2005, if not 2004.

I’ve done absolutely none of those things that you accuse multi-boxers of being and doing.

For the most part, I’ve not been harassed or stalked in-game due to my playstyle. Most people know how to be and act respectful to others.

I guess the point of my response is to stand up for myself and other people that like to multi-box and are not breaking the rules. We have a right to play our game as you do.

You disliking multi-boxing does not give you free-for-all rights to troll and bad-mouth us without a response.

You have a right to voice your opinions about multi-boxing and discuss it. You can do so and be respectful about it instead of lumping us all as, “cheaters, botters and gold sellers”. That is a form of trolling and as such, can be deemed as harassment.

I will not be bullied and harassed for enjoying a playstyle that is allowed by Blizzard. I will not allow someone to disrespect my and my playstyle like you have chosen to do.

I do not troll, I’m a grown adult and have been playing video games since the gaming boon began nearly 40 years ago. So, I think I have earned a right to know what I am talking about just from experience. Don’t disrespect me and I won’t have to waste my time giving a long-winded response like this.

Seems Blizzard is noticing the spam.

Just looked at the 10x thread… good lord. About half of the posters there are on my ignore list.

Yes it does seem that way

All good. I suppose it would be much easier to do now than it was 15 years ago. Am I wrong or at one point did you literally need multiple pcs?

You did lol and if you want to get really crazy you will need more than one computer again but for 5 boxxing or below you don’t need much

INCORRECT SIR.

In Classic we’ve come to know Multiboxers use VPNs to setup Argentina/South American $3 subscriptions that can still connect to NA. A simple 5 man multibox might be paying only $15 a month and with tokens in retail I’m sure the raw gold acquired from multiboxing can cover this.

If they’re playing retail on NA servers that would also be where they’re buying tokens off the AH. That means for every token Blizzard gets $20 which is $5 more than the actually sub fee.

As far as I know the price decrease South America gets is store wide. Xfers for a SA Blizzard account is $6 USD in Classic. I’m not positive about purchasing tokens.

Once again, could you please provide proof of your claim that he is, in fact, lying? And no, a post on Reddit does not count.

Thank you,

You are most welcome. They keep making claims and I keep politely asking for proof but they have yet to provide any. Oh well, such is life.
