They agree about being more transparent when they take action against people that are botting. Multiboxing and Botting are not the same thing. It doesn’t even matter if you agree with that statement, according to Blizzard, they are not one in the same.
I proudly multibox on a daily basis because it is a play style that I’ve grown accustomed to and I thoroughly enjoy it.
I’ve had many discussions with Game Masters about it over the years. It was not against the rules 15 years ago and it’s still not against the rules as of about 11 days ago when I spoke to a Gamemaster about it.
I’m perfectly fine with people that don’t support that style of play. I’m perfectly fine with people voicing their opinions and disdain for it on here.
What I do not support is people trying to bully us and harass us for enjoying a playstyle that they do not agree with.
I can guarantee you that I will continue to multibox on a daily basis. If a day comes that Blizzard no longer allows it, I will gladly stop, but only then and not because someone is trying to bully me into doing so.

I’m late to the party. I was going to warn you that multiboxing threads will draw out the multiboxers who love to have conversations with their own alts and like their own posts but it seems that my warning comes too late as well as I see all 4 of them have posted/liked already.

This thread shouldn’t even exist, all this mess shouldn’t even exist.
It’s nothing new, but currently there’s quite clearly been a shift and it’s hard to see everything keep denying it.

I don’t have time to check people’s alts but I don’t really think it is some huge deal anyway (even if it is supposedly happening).
Maybe everyone should post from their Classic characters now to make it harder to determine.

Ya but when your out farming in a competitive market and you see multiboxers with 3 or 4 characters all farm the same thing thus getting 4x more then you it doesn’t feel right. I often feel more like why bother or I guess I need to do that also just to make my time worth it.
Blizzard only allows it because these people are paying for their 3 or 4 or even more accounts. It is all about the money. Not what is actually right and fair. Still when people have disposable income they will do what they want with it. We will never be able to change that.
EDIT: Nodes for gathering professions need to go back to the old way. First come first serve.

Maybe but it fixes the problem with multiboxers. There is no win/win. One side will lose.
