Literally Blizzard cares what costumers want… This might not be one of those things but your statement is just dishonest.
If more money = less manpower yes.

What? If I’m saying it’s not multiboxing, that means I’m trying to say it is botting, which means I’m encouraging investigating.
Look at all the thread over the last few weeks, and look at how people are desperately trying to defend it.
In the sole effort to take focus off of it…
Is what it is, people are calling it as they see it.
Will always happen.
How do you know that most people don’t like and agree with multiboxing?
Not true taking your base statement as the key to this question.
How do you know that they do? We are all assuming here/stating opinions.
You asked about Blizzard caring about what consumers want. So, it sounded like you were assuming you knew what the consumers wanted.
You have no idea what consumers want.
So, basically you have nothing to stand on other than your feelings. More of the same…I don’t like something so remove it!
I like how you think people are so ethical that they wouldn’t do something that they are perfectly allowed to do.
As for money? It doesn’t cost a single dime to multibox.
Immersion has some bearing, but I doubt very many people outside of RP servers are having their immersion “broken” by seeing multiboxers.
Laziness is probably the key factor. It’s not like you just add another account and suddenly double your DPS. It’s almost like multiboxing isn’t a straight up advantage, it has downsides as well. That’s part of what makes it not such a huge deal, at least not for people who have taken some time to understand how multiboxing works instead of just calling for it to be banned.
I’m defending multiboxing. I’m not defending botting. I’m still struggling to see why you are conflating the two things.
They are fine with that it bring all the wallets to the yard, not necessarily ethically correct or game-wise healthy.
What part isn’t ethically correct?
And that’s fine.
But understand that most of those multiboxers aren’t playing by the rules anymore.
That’s why people are miffed.
I don’t care either way, They can multibox 'till the cows come home, keeps the lights on, keeps support staff in jobs.
But I can’t think of when I last saw a “Multiboxer” who wasn’t actively botting at the same time.
That’s the issue, that’s why you’re all being lumped together.
People are playing innocent but it’s not working anymore.
It’s 2020 and we’ve all seen it before, and we all understand it.
It’s not 1998 anymore where people were completely oblivious to how this stuff does and doesn’t work.
the best way to defend multiboxing is to not defend it, because the more attention you bring, the more scrutiny you will receive.
It’s amazing that pointing out the fact that it is impossible to enforce a multi-box ban constitutes as “defending multi-boxing”.
All the mail turning up in peoples mail boxes from the support teams who are starting to agree would beg to differ however.
I can play innocently but you might consider it botting btw.
What I consider doesn’t matter, what the team investigating the reports consider, does.
Exactly, that is why so many people say on the forums that they reported those multiboxers and they didn’t get banned.
Players can’t tell the difference between automation and playing. I can and will out tag you.
That’s because of them being guilty of botting.
Botting != multiboxing.
If they are getting banned, it’s for botting.
Botting is detectable due to computer memory usage.
I’ve already agreed to this, I’ve already said multiple times I don’t care, multibox, do it… pay your subs, go for it…
just stop leaving them logged in farming gold while you sleep and getting caught.
That’s botting at that point. Stop trying to conflate multiboxing with botting.
