No problem my friend. I agree with all you have posted. 
I mean the logic is sound except Blizzard has said multi boxing is okay, regardless of what the general forums think or feel about it.
So no, it’s not. I doubt it’ll ever change.

But really there is an avenue you can take if a multiboxer is actually being disruptive (like killing all of the quest mobs in area so you can’t get your quest done)

That’s true. I just personally don’t feel good about any sort of third party automation.
Perhaps it comes from my days of playing asian grind games that were overrun with gold farming bots that completely ruined everything for everyone while the devs did absolutely nothing. It felt like online chaos. Not fun at all.
I understand bots are different but I can’t really help the way I feel.
On the flip side however I also don’t feel the need to name call or insult or harass boxers either. I’ve sort of just made my peace with it as I know that they have blizzards blessing and really they are just trying to have fun in their own way like anyone else.

Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Notice that last bit? "Engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage"
Now, I dunno about you, but trying to fight 5 Blood Death Knights at once when they all Death Grip you at the same time is KINDA an “unfair advantage” no matter what your class is.
Think about that for a little while, while the Multiboxers try and make themselves feel better by believing they’re playing fair.
