ok then OP. you go explain to Blizzard that they have been breaking their own TOS all this time. That will sort them out.
There is no end to these multiboxing threads. jeez. Another week another 100 threads on the subject.
I personally don’t care for multiboxing, it’s Blizz’s decision on how to handle it and honestly I don’t come across them very often. If they want to pay more accounts to sell crafting mats, good on them. It would be hypocritical to think people do not profit off of this as well by buying said mats as well.
Either way for the rare times I use the AH I don’t really see these so-called 'catastrophic" effects on the in-game economy. To go all the way to call them “terrorists” is most ridiculous hyperbole I’ve seen all week. Got to love Sundays am I right? I find it pretty rich to have someone calling people’s forum “rp” as weird when they post off a moonguard toon. The irony hits you in the face like truck on the highway. You’ve single handily skewered your own arguments and killed off you credibility with your rants and attacks on people for not agreeing with, as all these threads tend to go. You are either trolling (which I don’t fault you for, everyone does it) or are in serious need of help if something as mundane as multiboxing has you up in arms to this level.
All in all, if blizz says its alright than it is. Until they decide otherwise, you’ll just have to accept that it exists.
Thanks for Grumbles and Gallows for making this thread more readable and entertaining. I wouldn’t of gotten through without you two. Big thanks!
Not according to Blizzard and guess what, they decide what is and what is not cheating. So you have already started this “series” of threads on this subject with a loss.
Not every one that multi-boxes uses third party software to aid them in farming.
I’ve done it without any third-party software and did it old-school with good old alt-tabbing between each screen, click each time for each character.
In fact, I don’t even use key cloning to farm any herbs or ores. I click each character individually. For me, it’s much more efficient and less reliant on having perfect camera alignment.
So, you’re wrong, you don’t need software to multi-box. It’s a pain in the butt without it, but I’ve done it before many times.
No more unfair than five separate players doing the same thing.
That’s the part that you guys keep misunderstanding, and why blizzard is OK with it.
That’s why the drinking games so popular
Make sure to grab a bingo board along with some shot glasses.
Though I suppose it might be a tad dangerous, though no pain no gain right.
I can easily say that if we turned this into a drinking game, I would already be dead on the floor from liver failure and severe brain damage…not that the level of vitriol and ignorance is enough to make your brain sore.
And here I thought orcs could drink with the best of them and enjoyed living on the edge.
There is a difference between living on the edge and being willfully suicidal. Now I can tank with the best of them, but I am not stupid enough to drink myself to death over this…Maybe some Warsong runt would do it, but not me.
That’s exactly the point though. If players had to physically do it with every character instead of letting a program handle that part of the hassle for them, duplication for those who are ready to lash me, then it wouldn’t be so widespread where its such a common occurrence that the general discussion gets threads about it every other day.
They do have to physically do it, the software is simply directing the OS and drivers. Anything that software can do could be done with hardware. There is no automation. Every action must involve the player pressing the buttons.
We can. We’re worried about the rest of ya. Well except the dwarves.
Blizz says it’s allowed. End of discussion.
Now go use the search engine and read one of the 2645303 threads on it.
I know this is hard for you to understand and can’t seem to grasp no matter how many times you post on an alt about the subject.
But unless those toons are being controlled by a person and it’s not automated, it’s perfectly fine
No matter how thick headed you and the rest of the community who keep bringing this subject up think
/THE END
With every multiboxer I’ve ever seen, I’ve done my best to make them cry (usually doesn’t work) and also report them as many times as the game allows, submit tickets, post on forums about in how many different ways they violate the ToS. I submit suggestions every day about how they ruin the game, and Blizzard does nothing. They make a few bucks more, so boom, it stays in.
It will be going as long as its need to be.
true, but it does cost them to buy the recent expansion. They can lose a lot of money if their accounts are flagged before they can recuperate the initial investment.
You can buy that with gold, too.
