I don’t know, I’d doubt it is truly that many, LFR is not as silly as it seems. It can actually be fun sometimes.

Yep. I also haven’t bought the expansion yet for the first time in forever. Might come back to level, but pretty done with this company and dev team.

They wouldn’t really know what goes on in there anyway. They don’t do LFR. I think they just like arguing in bad faith.

I have already bought Dragonflight and I might just call it sunk cost and cancel my sub anyway. If it’s not pandering to gold sellers its alienating the playerbase that have lives and don’t have the extra 20 hours per week to be in a raid team. I raided all through high school and into college, I had time then and am very familiar with the time sink it takes. Now that I have a Master’s level job? Yeah, I don’t have a whole nother part-time job’s worth of time to sink into the game. Seems like a good way to push the me’s of the community out.

If I can beat half the dps with the lowest admissible ilvl without a soulbind, it is silly. If we can wipe on Rygelon, the one with not a single mechanic outside of Don’t Yeet Yourself Off The Platform and everyone thinks, well shucks, we’ll beat him with the stack now, instead of improving on their character, it is silly.
There are few outliers sure, but LFR is a joke, and while it could deserve a reward, it definitely doesn’t deserve a shared reward with normal.
Until they deliver the product, you can get your money back. Just need to ask them.
Who cares? LFR is basically story mode for raiding, and should not require much thought outside of it. Some of us are tired, but also just want to see the raid, what’s wrong with this?
XIV literally allows every and all raids to be queued for in this manner, no one complains about it over there.

Honestly, yes, I would. However I’d still be very hesitant about getting my hopes up over anything in the future.
Normally I miss out on these sorts of things because of my disabilities and this was something I actually had hopes of obtaining. I was so excited for months…
They could of at least thrown solo and casuals that don’t do normal or higher a bone and kept the xp buff up .

You seem to imply I’m vouching for the removal of LFR. I’m not. I’m vouching for distinct rewards. And in the original interpretation of the achievement, they were shared.

Whelp. If it had been obtainable in LFR, the collector in me probably would’ve given the new Fated LFR a go, at least enough to get the mount.
Now that it’s not? Nah. Not wasting my time on that for slightly better gear that will be replaced by greens at the beginning of the new expansion.

Compared to normal? Absolutely. And if you claim it isn’t, then you shouldn’t have any trouble doing it.
My original comment in this thread has 50 likes, maybe more. People don’t like the decision to not have the mount be obtainable through LFR, because days prior it was going to be, it honestly is as simple as that. Blizzard is in the wrong, there is also nothing wrong with letting people get this specific mount through this method, I think if I were wrong then 50 people wouldn’t just agree with the sentiment.

Other than the higher level gear that you can get in Normal? I thought that was the point. And also ~the challenge~. I thought higher difficulties were for people who wanted to challenge themselves with more difficult content…if anything, rewards of anything but better gear should be removed as you go up in difficulty, and Mythic shouldn’t award anything except maybe an achievement.
Because it’s about how much fun you have challenging yourself with harder content and not about having to be bribed into more of a slog that you don’t even enjoy…right?

Heroic is also just higher gear but it also gets its own reward. Why would normal be left out?
