An anniversary mount that was meant to be available to every subscriber. Totally the same as a mount tied to a new experimental raid season.
Reward people doing normal. Heroic has a title. Mythic has teleports. LFR and Normal should have had distinct rewards. And since, I would advocate a reward for LFR. But that’s not the case here.
Like i said. Nobody is perfect. We all have our donkey moments. Tonight just happens to be one of mine. I’m also aware enough that I am being a bit … ish. But, whatcha gonna do?
They should just put it on the store.
An experimental raid season that could almost be treated the same or maybe they could just treat their community nicely for once, oh wait they would never. Meanwhile others are off on other games having way more fun than being around dismissive

If blizzard said for months something was a reward for content you play, and it would be the only reward for the content you play.
And then a few days before it went live, said “lol nah, its a higher difficulty youve never done before”
And then a few days later changed the in game achievements to say so.
Imagine if season 4 was suddenly said to be mythic only for rewards. Because to those that only do lfr, it might as well be.
Youd be upset too right?
I believe all of us who are unhappy are mainly annoyed at how they handeled it.

I will concede it should’ve been done sooner.
Let’s be real though, this was probably what they had intended from the beginning, but they didn’t proofread and caused an uproar.
If they had caught the mistake before it went out, they could have saved themselves a lot of headaches.

I’m just curious… if they decided “after much internal debate” to award the mount in LFR after all (say next week or two) … all those who in anger/disgust have cancelled their subs over how Blizzard handled this – would you come back or stay away?
What do you care about community if you just want to do LFR. Might as well be AI grouping with you, as there’s no communications (see, that word as the same etymology start, wonder why) and people just bank on determination stacks to avoid any type of challenge.
LFR is still going to be fated whatever the raid is for that week.
So all through these threads asking for LFR to drop the mount as well the elitists were just having a “moment” instead of actively encouraging LFR players to try normal they had to talk down to them and tell them to “git gud” yeah right.

That’s exceptionally false. I raid lead my only Jailer LFR kill by explaining the mechanics and the fight, it required communication, or we were never going to get it. We got it with just 2 stacks of determination. Hardly an AI group.

I didn’t think i’d need to specify but despite the wording I meant and only speak for myself.
I think if blizzard just said
“We messed up on the wording of that achievement. It was never our intent for the rewards to be that way and we are sorry to anyone who felt mislead or are disappointed by this”
Most would happily just move on knowing they were heard.
Theyre meant to be the “new blizzard” with better communication and respect for players but theyre doing a really poor job of showing it with their choices

So your one single kill happened this way. How many others were brute forced with 10 stacks? They couldn’t even get people to stop hitting a boss with its shield up, they had to nerf the crap out of him.
I do understand not all players are that way but the ones who are outweigh those who aren’t and when those who are keep talking down to LFR players it makes the whole group look bad.
