So apparently, all it takes to get a thread closed is to complain enough about Christie Golden. Not even ad hominem attacks, just talking about her writing.

Seems like I vaguely remember something in the guidelines about “personal attacks” against someone working for or with Blizzard. But I would have taken that thread as a very loose interpretation of that clause. A couple sh!tposts aside (and what thread doesn’t have those?) it was mostly well-reasoned critiquing.
I had read all but the last 3-4 posts in that thread, and I don’t remember any personal attacks. Maybe it got really bad in those last 3-4 posts?

I didn’t even notice the whole thread was gone, until Tilgath said something. So if there were any personal attacks, they weren’t very good ones.

I haven’t been tuning in to this thread much but just as an observation it is hilarious that no mod action had been taken after the title change.
