I guess well-thought criticism is not allowed but everything else is fine as long as it doesnn’t concern Blizzard
Sneks are cute!
Aww
I like how they closed Edgyjojomeme’s other edgy thread, but not the one literally begging to be closed.
God, I can hear this gif. This is probably my favorite episode.
HAW-HAW-HAW-HAW!!
G-G-G-GASTLY!!
GENGAR-GENGAR-GENGAR!!

I just noticed this… it’s like they did it on purpose.
Today I have a DnD session and I’m very excited about it.
I have a Aarakocra Wizard with some cool shenanigans of Forgotten Realms.
Provided that this thread has become a convoluted mess of Pokémon and fluffiness, I want to hear DnD stories from u guys.
I’m still building the campaign setting I mentioned in the Lounge. Wherein the usual “Twilight of the Elves” never happened, and they remain the dominant humanoids of the world.
I’ve roughly tacked down all the Elven kingdoms and civilizations. The usual DnD Elves: Sun, Moon, Star, Wood, Wild, Dark, and Drow. And a few I’ve created/altered, like Snow Elves, and a society of Tinker Elves that have given up magic.
Now I’m working on the Human kingdoms. One is kinda generic European fantasy. Western European castles, treacherous Eastern European woodlands and countryside. They’re the “jack of all trades, master of none” Human trope. They procure wealth through manufacture, but they’re more the Walmart of my world. You can pay an exorbitant price to the Dwarves for a warhammer that will last you and your bloodline until the end of days, or you can pay these Humans a much more modest sum for one that will last at least your lifetime, but not much more. You can pay the Sun Elves a king’s ransom for powerful spells and enchantments, or pay the Human wizards a more reasonable amount for a weaker enchantment. They’re a monarchy, balanced by a House of Nobles and a House of Guilds.
The second, is your stereotypical blend of east Asian fantasy. An island nation, reclusive and secretive. Monks, ninjas, samurai, and all that Eastern flavor, under the rule of a Dragon Emporer. They maintain their economic independence through a monopoly on tea, though jade is also an important export (though the Tabaxi of a different island offer them competition in the jade market, along with other gems, and gold).
I had a third kingdom in the desert lined up for your typical Middle Eastern and African fantasy tropes. But now, I think that’s going to be for the Dragonborn and Genasi.
It’s the first time of our DM being a DM, so we are sticking to the basics with land that he created, but nothing obnoxious, some modules and the main plot: Boreal Lights.
Every player sees a Boreal Light at some nights, each player sees a different colour descending on a different location, my speculation is that the location is related to something tied to the backlore of the character.
I’m enjoying a lot. I go through my week thinking about DnD
I’ve still never DMed. Making this world originally stemmed from a creative writing project. I’m still not sure what I’d do with it when I finish. I’m leaning towards putting it in the hands of our more experienced DM. But a small, defensive part of me worries about him doing it justice, and wonders if I should take my own turn behind the screen.
I believe in your potential as a DM <3
Share the love, man.
I suppose I could give it a try. If nothing else, all the material will be written down, so I can pass it off to my DM, if it goes sideways.
I will have to work on my penchant for flowery language, and fixating on non-essential minutiae, though.
Star Wars Fantasy Flight Games RPG game. The party infiltrated an Imperial base to pull a heist for some important data, then stole a tank from the hanger/garage and escaped in it, crushing the base checkpoint they had initially snuck in from on their way out.
