I won’t cook it if my grandma asks me to (me and my aunt are her caregivers, in tandem). And if she cooks it herself, I’ll leave for the day, until the stench clears out of the house.

It’s not food. You can ferment cabbage into edible, even delicious things (see: Asian cuisines). It’s a chemical weapon.

When it comes to smells I’ve always hated the smell of aspergus. Not sure why it’s just rank to me. Granted I’ve never smelled that weird fish stuff above in the thread
