I am happy I’ll get to keep my undead pets… I don’t care of its a DPS loss.
All they announced today is that they are adding a choice node to summon a traditional pet. So you have a choice between whatever talent is going to tie into spotter’s mark or you lose that talent and instead get the traditional pet. The assumption right now is that the spotter’s mark talent is going to do more damage than a single pet can. That means your gun does more damage than the pet.
As for the bird… It’s still a thing. I don’t like it either.
It’s the fact that I have to rely on nature at all. The bird is a pet to me. You guys really don’t understand. I don’t get what’s so hard to understand about it. I WANT USE GUN. SHOOT BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG DAMAGE. NO NATURE. JUST GUN.
Well, then you chose the wrong class, because hunters have always been tied to nature one way or another.
The fact people are still arguing after they made the change just boggles my mind lol.
Convince Blizzard to add a new physical ranged class then…
You probably shouldn’t be playing the woodsman nature ranger class, then, and should hope they implement Tinker in Midnight.
Players: “Please let MM keep pets”
Blizzard: “Okay. You can keep them.”
Players: “WHAT THE HELL WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?”
People whined for a month over not losing their hp tank wall…
So when they made changes to skill trees and made you pick a spec, they clearly made those specs based on heroes from Warcraft III. MM was Sylvanas, and BM was Rexxar. They then made Survival ALSO Rexxar. Now they are taking away Sylvanas entirely and making hunter 3 Rexxars. Do you see the issue?
I mean I could have guessed this would be the result. It’s ALWAYS the result
Welp they got it at the cost of a talent point. More power to them lol.
Edit: I’ll just be upset if this costs us cosmetics to the eagle. If they scrap eagle glyphs over this talent point…
Marksman was the ONE that wasn’t a woodsman nature class. Clearly you never understood that. It was about BEING A MARKSMAN. You know. A GOOD SHOT.
Right now, I am looking at the issue.
Spoiler alert, it is not the class and spec.
In Delves you have a personal healer so there’s zero downtime. For Rare Elites in the world, half the time you can kill them before they even get to you and for what little damage they do deal, usually end up full health just from a cloak enchant.
So, I’m just not sure if you’re just stuck in your ways to not know that the pet doesn’t actually save any time and any time you ‘save’ is lost by killing everything slower.
Special interest groups ruin another glorious step towards progress.
I don’t want to be Rexxar. I wanted it to be non-nature-focused and character skill based like Sylvanas, yes. As it was intended to be.
Just look at armories tbh. Most of these players have only been doing world content for 14 years. They… well I dont get them
Like I said, you clearly chose the wrong class. If you are really going to use Sylvanas as a shield, she was a ranger of Silvermoon and Eversong Woods. Ghostlands, too, before Arthas arrived. Maybe learn your lore first.
I mean, I was playing a Hunter back when they still had to worry about Mana, and I prefered MM but I hated pet AI so when Lone Wolf came around much much later, it was perfect. I was pretty much the same way with my warlock and Grimoire of Sacrifice.
wow. that sure sounds like we’re allowed to have a pet.
so let me get this straight…you’re raging and seething because people have the option to still use call pet…
no one is forcing you to take the talent.
