Do you understand that you won’t be able to have a pet at all? Not to start with, and not if you choose the other options instead of having a pet.

I do not want a bird. I do not want a pet. I will do better with a pet and the bird is a government mandate.

So you will want to pick the appropriate talent to increase your damage and it won’t be any different than what was planned yesterday. I’m sorry about the Eagle, but that is a separate issue from what was announced today.

Where are you guys getting that there is a talent to increase damage if you don’t pick a pet? They have said that is gone.

no most arguements were “you should of be using lone wolf for the last few years unless you like gymping yourself” . And that one still stands , even in world content. now they again have to balalnce lone wolf and those use pets instead of just loan wolf

The talent going forward is not to increase damage if there’s not an active pet, it’s now part of the build to not have the ability to call a pet until higher level and choosing to have a pet will reduce your DPS.

Yes, i am right. MM would always need a Pet on PvE World or Delves.

Yeah, you can kill elites or Rares without pet but you would be injured… requiring you to heal from food if you wasted your Exhilarion already. That is a downtime. Compare it to me killing the same Elites and Rares unscratched becoz i toyed the mobs with my decoy which we call Pet. I have no downtime ready to pull the next group of mobs.

Dont get me wrong. I love the petless Eagle idea… only for M+ and Raid. But on PvE world and Delves, i want to keep my unkillable feature. I want all my utility and CC… and the best tool we call Pet.

Holy hell.

To get your pet back, you have to take one of those “pick one or the other of these two” talents. The one you’re NOT picking to get the pet is one that makes Aimed Shot do more damage.

So if you don’t want a pet, you take the talent that makes Aimed Shot do more damage instead.

The baseline is you have no pet. You have to intentionally pick a talent to get a pet. Otherwise, no pet.

You ARE stuck with the Eagle, but the Eagle barely exists. It’s about three pixels in size and only appears for a quarter of a second at a time, once in a blue moon. You’ll never notice it.

You are not allowed to have a pet. It’s not an ability your spec will have. Unless you specifically choose halfway down the tree to learn Call Pet.

Its a MM hunter using a pet. You have to use short max 2 syllable words.
