Yes you can. Who cant do it at ilevel 636?

I would be doing high Delves at lower gear as I am super Casual with less play time. We would use Pet strat of endlessly reviving them until all mobs or Bosses are dead if our petless DPS from lowbie gear is not enough.

You are few. You thought all MM are at ilevel 636 doing Delves 11? You are barely touching Delves. It is not even for you. And you dictate which is good for those who play Delves?

Really? Come on. I still have to rely on a pet? I will never get my class where I rely on my gun skills on a world of magic. I hope youā€™re happy. I was really looking forward to this.

There was always room on the MM talent tree to keep pets, just like demo locks can call certain demons based on their talent choices. They were just being overzealous. Iā€™m happy for both options.

What are you talking about? Just donā€™t take the pet choice on that node and literally nothing changes for you.

I have a pet tank for solo content now I rely on. I do less damage now because people didnā€™t want to change to the playstyle that actually matches their preferred architype. But thereā€™s no point in arguing with you. You donā€™t care about the style of hunter I wanted to play. The one where there is no pet and I am really powerful as a dps. Even more powerful than with lone wolf. You will probably just ad hom if I even try to argue with you. You got what you want but that will never be enough. People are so messed up.

My hunter is doing T8 delves it at 593 without a pet. Remember, my hunter is my alt, not this character.

Nothing changed. In fact, not using a pet is technically better and largely has been for a while. Even more so with the upcoming changes. I would highly suggest educating yourself before making poor assumptions. Both options exist, and neither have any real effect on the other at the end of the day. Thatā€™s all this was really about. Having options.

Noā€¦ You donā€™t. Unless you want a pet. You get to choose. You arenā€™t losing anything if you donā€™t pick the pet talent.

All of the power is going to be on the hunter through the Eagle which has nothing to do with traditional pets. If your issue is with the Eagle then that is a separate issue.

Okay hereā€™s the breakdown. Does your pet do any damage? Yes? Well then part of your damage is pet. I wanted NO PET. I wanted NO BIRD. I wanted GUN. GUN go shooty bang and hit for real big damage. Kill fast. No pet but I kill fast. Get it? Now I have a pet which objectively gives me an advantage, and no lone wolf. I am relying on pet for damage and tanking and you had better believe it will be META to run it. It took the opposite direction.

I mean they gutted demo lock and survival hunter, and combat rogue and rebuilt them from the ground up. Hell combat got a name change to top it off.

Like seriously go play classic and compare classes/specs then to now. The only one that significantly resembles itā€™s modern incarnation is feral druid. Which other then a few new buttons and some better aoe plays more the same then not.

Paladins are practically a different class entirely.

I mean, good for you. Iā€™m just saying you were wrong claiming that MM hunters need a pet for anything because they are more than capable of handling any world or delve content without a pet and twice wrong if you were assuming I was using overgearing content as an excuse as to how they can do it.

The only thing a hunter pet does enable hunters to do is handle certain legacy raid achievements solo without resetting, the days of needing a pet to tank are long gone.

So donā€™t choose the talent that allows you to split your DPS with a pet? Really canā€™t tell your position here. These changes will force you to play petless until you unlock the ability to, which you donā€™t have to choose to take.

now I could be wrong but I am 99.5% sure those are handled by a different department then the hunter class dev/s.
