This sums up the mindset of the people fighting the change. You guys can step back from the ledge now.
It is⊠you canât balance pet utility vs damage with a talent.
I canât see petless mm being pvp viable because of how bad hunter defensives are and how vital roar of sacrifice is at high play. This compromise is just gimping the class.

I never said that. But it is no surprise that you are inventing things I never said and arguing against those because you just canât win this part of the argument.
SOME real hunters exercise the OPTION of hunting with a pet which is why it makes sense to allow WoW hunters to exercise the OPTION of hunting with a pet.
There is a very small group of people like the eSport people who do RWF and high level groups that do HOF and CE for whom these micro advantages actually make a difference.
The vast majority of people are just not good enough for these things to matter and many of them just donât care about these micro advantages. We play the game for fun and have all the power we need WITH our MM Hunter pets.

We MM needs to have an option to have a Pet.
Their changes for Eagle with no Pet is okay⊠it is great actually⊠but only for Raids and M+.
But when we talk about PvE World dealing Rare Bosses, massive Elites and Delves, MM hunters need an old school tool to deal with them⊠itâs called using their Pets regardless if their Pet is weaker than BMâs.
Those who confronted me on an argument that we MM need to switch to BM for Delves Bosses or Rare Bosses or learn2play MM with no pet, you have no idea how to play MM. Keep your suggestion to yourself.
Victory!!! We are keeping our Pets. ROFL. We dont want to be a Mage. We want to be Hunters⊠meaning, we want a playstyle with Pet. GG.

So what? Who cares? Clearly there is a group of players who are threatened by those who like to play MM hunters with pets. Why does this bother them so much? What are they afraid of?
MM Hunters with pets are like that woman in the old Apple Macintosh 1984 ad, running down the isle with our Hunter Pets and throwing the hammer at the screen to the dismay of the mindless masses who are all in Lone Wolf lock step.l

Because it breaks pvp to start and ive not seen them talking about revamping mm pvp talents to offset it.
Theyâll never grasp that just having a thing doesnât make it the thing.
Like survival has steady shot for whatever reason so I guess its a ranged hunter spec then?

By their logic, Survival is ranged, Enhancement is ranged, Arcane is Melee.

Thatâs pretty insulting because I know how to play MM and can do Delves and elites just fine on one without a pet.
Non-elites die in a single Aimed shot or rapid fire for a LFR-level geared MM hunter. Rare Elites with twice their HP die in about 30 seconds without cooldowns, 20 seconds with them. In Delves, you just step on potions and are fine and can take all the time you need so itâs pretty telling if you say âYou need a pet to do this, you donât know how to playâ when people have proof of doing it without a pet tells the opposite.
