I’ve gone through the steps and verified I am on the correct license/account/realm. All my other characters are there except my 70 DK Leviathane-EmeraldDream. I am absolutely positive I did not delete this character as it is my main character at the moment. My nightborne mage also disappeared though I may have deleted that character. I don’t know if my DK is deleted or what happened. Thank you in advance.

It looks like the character was deleted a few days ago. There were a few characters deleted around the same time (a level 70 Lightforged Draenei Paladin and level 60 Dracthyr Evoker), so you may have been doing a little clean up and deleted that one by mistake.
Unfortunately, the Undelete option is currently disabled while some issues with restoring characters is addressed. We don’t have an estimate on when it will return, but we do hope soon in an upcoming patch.

Maybe the person used his computer.
Maybe but they still shouldn’t be doing that. They shouldn’t be able to get onto your computer without your password, and if they have that, you will have bigger problems than your WOW account.
My password is in one place besides my head. My will. The beneficiary is someone I trust implicitly.

When you’re in your house, playing the game and you do a bathroom break, do you lock your computer? Log off from the game?
Yeah, no one else should have access to your account, but you just don’t know what happened.
Maybe he shared the account and yep… he is wrong.
But maybe he was in his house.

I appreciate everyone’s concern, and you are all right. It was a household member who told me about it after the post. She has the password to my computer because it is the only one we have. I’ll just have to wait till Blizz restores the undelete functionality and hopefully there is a grace period with no CDs because she deleted a few characters. Thanks for everyone’s concern, though. For now, I’ll probably secure my computer with a different password.

Not sure if they will remove the cool-down when the system comes back, but in the very least, I’d recommend separate logins and passwords if you’re on a Window’s machine. Otherwise, completely log out of the game and launcher if you’re going to be away from the computer to ensure that they can’t log back in.
Additionally, make sure that you’re using unknown passwords for all your online accounts so that this person doesn’t take further (and perhaps more serious) actions to things that might matter more like email, banking, etc.

This has happened to me whete my character got deleted by accidental while trying to delete a low level character it selected my main character and it got deleted iv opend tickets to get him back but have been shut down iv never opend a ticket to blizzard about anything only this and they couldnt help me so my question is now is my character that has 360 days played gone forever ?
No, the restoration system is currently down while the devs work on issues surrounding it.
When it’s up, you’ll be able to recover the character pending any cooldowns.
Stop me if I’m wrong, but don’t you need to type in the characters name during the deletion confirmation process?

Blizzard did say the restoration would be up within a few weeks tho this issue mite be throwing a wrench into things.
I got mine back today thank god i opened a ticket last night after so many failed attempts one of them actually had a careing heart and restored him thats exactly whay i cared about the launch
