Well, when you have more than one shadow priest, you can rotate mind controls. And making them kill civilians should give them DHKs, too.
You can also mind control them, and make them carry the flag for you in WSG, winning points for your team.
And depending on how often you camp them, you can definitely make them take a hefty repair bill.
And don’t forget mind controlling someone down into the bowels of one of the boats, and just keeping them there until they log out, interrupting any hearth attempts and making them return to the corner any time they try to make a break for freedom.
Forcing someone to leave the BG is not PvP. I’m normally unsympathetic to players who whine about being killed in a PvP setting, but even I have to admit that this is at least as reportable as the spawn camping that they just fixed.
This is not the same. They’re forcing someone out of content they queued for and making them take on deserter penalties they didn’t deserve. There’s no way Blizzard intended this as a legitimate PvP tactic.
Mind control is on the diminishing return list. No matter how many priests you have, if you repeatedly use the ability on the same target it will last for shorter and shorter duration until the target becomes immune for sometime.
It only lasts for a maximum of 30 seconds. And the further your MC target gets from you the higher probability it breaks early, the same with damage. As they take more damage they’re more likely to break the MC early. You could in theory make this work if you took the flag all the way to your own base, dropped it, and THEN MC’d someone to make them pick it up and turn it in. But that’s pretty risky because they could just click return flag to base while you cast MC.
If you cast MC on someone inside a neutral city the guards will attack you, before you get a chance to make the player attack the guards. Plus they’re considered a pet, so unless I’m mistaken (which is possible) if you make your pet attack a guard, the guard will kill the pet and then you.

LOL no. Whether by fears or other means, this was never true. It was done all the time when camping the GY got old and honor was tapped out, no one got banned for it.

Actually, you are wrong and I know many people who got warnings back in the day. However, I highly doubt the new Blizzard support is gonna care too much since they don’t care about many other things that would be considered griefing back in Vanilla.
Maybe you never got reported? Also, was you the priest doing it? My brother got reported for doing it and received a warning. He never did it again tho…
