Might of the Frozen Wastes is back

You can run razorice as your single rune though, might very well be worth.

Very much is my intention. Going to have some massive OBL crits.

Well the system could force it. What if all I get is 2h weapons and cant get that other 1h I need? This is the exact reason why Fury said that it should be a transmog option.

Then you lose out on the str stacking from Fallen Crusader.

Think they just added a bit where you get these weapon things that you then trade for the weapon you want?

Itā€™s obvious that DW has an edge with the double runeforges. Itā€™s not obvious if it has an edge overall in ST.

THat will likely be more than made up by the 25% increase OBL dmg in my mind. Will have to test it.

Of course it does when most of the spec will still have more of everything aside from some obliterate damage.

You really canā€™t say that at this point in time. The important bit is that we canā€™t say for sure yet.

Some talents are now favoring a 2h KM/OBL build - Murderous Efficiency, Frostscythe, Ice Cap and Obliteration immediately jump out to me as 2H talents now. It will have to be tested, you cant say blindly that DW is just better anymore.

2H Will still generate less procs of KM naturally. My guess is that they changed the proc rate to be 100% of auto crits. It then gets 27% less procs than DW overall.

Yeah, thats my read too, which seems to favor 2h stacking as much crit and mastery as possible. Which, in my mind, could be such a fun Arthas inspired play style.

None of those are now 2h talents.

Not too sure about stacking crit since obliteration generally devalues it.

Hmmm Rune of Unending Thirst is available on the PTRā€¦

Would the auto crit % cap, or would you not want as many KM procs as possible as 2H - Giving you OBL frost dmg.

Is the weapon concept the same though? Is the melee damage still determined mainly by attack power or was that modified again?

Sure yes, but you get lots of those through obliteration. My point was mostly that crit isnā€™t an obvious priority. Will have to see which stat comes out on top.

Fair enough

Still the same, its literally just a small boost to Obliterate for 2h.
