Okay and? Many people play for the aesthetic. Regardless of the reason, you brought this on yourselves. This was the same in TBC, this was the same in Classic. People were warned of it happening TBC Classic and yet people still boosted and rolled on Horde. If you want to do something, sometimes it comes at a price. This is no difference here. You want to play Horde with your friends and PvP then you and your friends pay the price of the queues.

i do not want any filthy Horde posing as Alliance on my team thanks, and going by retail mercy mode experience i noticed most of you Horde merc players came into Alliance and just afked for free honor anyways.

All I see from both factions here as a collective, is absolute pure disdain for the opposite faction. I see alliance salt because horde are the OP faction (lol). I see horde salt because they want shorter queue times. I see alliance salt because of phase 2 (that they can’t seem to get over). I see horde salt because alliance are not advocating for merc mode.
Pretty intense salt experience right here.

I know right? For merely changing from Horde to Alliance yourself you can lower his queue times for a BG. They have no intention of changing, but if you do all their problems will be solved.

There is no chance of merc mode. At least demand things that can happen… like a pay faction xfer

Merc mode is short term fix that only creates more problems.

It’s not the only reason it happened, but it is a factor as to why Alliance on retail is essentially dead competitively outside of a very small handful of outliers. Once you add Merc mode there is no reason for anyone to roll Alliance other than just race choice. With the slanted numbers even those that want to play Alliance start going to where it’s easier to find groups and or win.

I’d almost bet my paycheck if they add it the game will be close to 75-80% Horde by the time Wrath rolls out, even more so if they add faction change and another boost.

I’m not sure what could be done about it other than merc mode, but as a person who wants to play horde but have to suffer through 45+ mins sitting in queue I’d greatly appreciate not having to do so lol.

Sometimes you have to make a decision. Which is more important to you? Is it being Horde? Or is it PvPing in a reasonable amount of time?

Then you suffer the queue times. As long as you accept it’s the decision you made and live with the consequences then there is no problem here.

yeah because It was advertised to me that if I chose horde that I would suffer horribly long queue times for PvP. It asked me to agree and confirm prior to creating a character on a realm.
