Mercenary Mode is a must

Is your hypothetical group of friends also angry RPing dwarves

Retail proves merc mode only benefits Horde, and contributes to faction imbalance by removing the main benefit to playing Alliance. On Retail, people only play Alliance if they like the races, and they tend to be the casual players. All the top PVE and PVP players are Horde.

Merc mode does hurt us, by insuring all the best players stay Horde.

Ironically yeah they are. The funny part about it is the dumbest one probably has more common sense than any of your combined considering he isn’t in the same situation you guys seem to have gotten yourselves in.

May as well add it so the PVPers can actually PVP, we already have character boosts and store mounts in this before we even stepped into outland.

At this point may as well make a change that benefits the players rather than lining blizzards pockets.

That benefits the baby mode faction and hurts the other one, you mean.

Damn, your hypothetical friends are so smart. Why did I make mine so dumb…

LOL boost is (1) per account. Plus $35. Plus another 72 hours just to ding to 70? Plus professions, plus find a guild, plus get gear, just so I can play (1) aspect of the game I pay for? And im the kid? LOL

There will never be faction balance. Ever How dense are you. Nothing will solve faction balance, and if you think long bg ques are the answer you have your head on backwards.

Majority of players like Horde lore better. Regardless of racials. Again why should you force players to join a faction based on bg ques? Like your arguments are just sooooooooo bad and just aren’t true. More players will just get over sitting in a bg q and quit.

Merc mode just allows a player to get a quicker bg que time. It won’t make faction balance worse. How? You act like thousands of players are leveling alliance this second so they can que a bg. Delusional statements. You have maybe 5 no lifers who would do this and it’s a bigger waste of time then sitting in a 45 minute bg que.

Imagine being above the age of 20 at the very least and acting as if this is an insult LOL. Must not be married or with kids if you think this is something to poke fun at someone for.

That’s fine, but if you think further exacerbating faction balance issues is the answer…well. You’re wrong. Sorry.

Considering this is the case in tbc without merc mode already. So what would change if this is true? Which it is not.

If you think players are staying horde in retail due to merc mode… lmao

And people are literally doing it as we speak so your laughs just make you look stupid not me lol.

There won’t be with morons like you. Which is why you can sit in that q and enjoy it

It’s not… You act like 100% of horde players will use merc mode. Even in retail when it came out only a handful of players even knew about it/used it. Faction balance is based soley from racials. I would say only 2% of playerbase chose alliance to " save themself from a bg q".

It played a significant role in my choice. Also human rogues are good.

The longer queues get for Horde, the more likely they are to start re-rolling Alliance. Merc mode means they have no reason to do so.

Dude they aren’t putting this in classic. You can keep twisting around in whatever shape you want, but the answers have been provided in this thread and a hundred other ones just like it.

Faction balance is caused by a number of things, and mercenary mode just sort of sealed the deal on it. Horde had long queue times in Classic, expecting anything else in TBCC is silly.

4? 5? ppl? you act like this is shifting a 99:1 ratio… Actually ridiculous. Keep blowing smoke out your hole and not adding why merc mode hurts you specifically. Again faction balance? 99:1. Players chose horde without merc mode. it won’t make a difference.

Again, your arguments are so bad it actually makes me feel really smart. TY.

I’m one of those players. I was Horde on Retail for years and knew queues on Classic would be bad. Hence the reason I play a Night Elf and not Forsaken.

Thank you. You are turning the tide in the faction balance. Sorry you can’t play the faction you actually wanted to play cause players like Roshak. Lok’Tar

My brother is one of those players too. I actually think a lot of active Alliance PvPers went Alliance with that in mind. If queues were even I would probably be an undead mage.

As I have 6 horde 60s, that’s exactly what I did with my boost.
