This game desperately needs mercenary mode. If you think this #nochange is not good for the game tell me how. How would mercenary mode negatively effect you to the point that it would justify the fact that 45 minute que for a bg is fine.
Ps: Mercenary Mode is the ability to que as the other faction for a bg. Thus balancing out the que times.

No, no it doesn’t. Merc mode takes away the natural negative impacts of swarming one faction. There would literally be no reason to have a balanced faction with merc mode. If you want a balanced q, then help balance out the faction.

Some of us play with friends and they unfortunately chose horde.

Having a larger population already has a ton of benefits.
More guilds to raid with
More pug groups
More arena team partners
Zone dominance for less ganking
More stocked AH.
BG queues is literally the only benefit right now as alliance, and horde want to take that away too. Further killing alliance.
Oh right. Let us just go ahead and break the game so you can play with your friends and not have to deal with Queue times.

People are busy with other things. Horde is more densely populated. They have always had longer queue times.
Remember that time in Retail when Blizz put in merc mode? Yea, instead of addressing faction imbalance, they just made sure that it would be forever imbalanced. Nah yall can sit in your queues or reroll imo.

Vs rogues and druids? Maybe, but it’s useless against every other class.
in shadowlands horde is 70% of the PvP ladder above 1800, and finished the mythic raid leaderboard a full 5 weeks faster than the alliance.
All that and horde still has 20+ minute queues unless they merc.
