Interestingly, I found another quest where you become “King/Queen of the Ogres.” Sorta similar to becoming the King of the Gordunni. It takes place in this quest:
It turns all hostile Ogres in Blade’s Edge Mountain to neutral as a result, which includes both the Bloodmaul and the Bladespire clans:
Apparently, you can do some amusing things as noted in the Bladespire page. It mentions needing to be friendly or above with Ogri’la Ogres, but you can do the following emotes to Ogres in Blade’s Edge Mountains (I assume any Ogres in the area) to have amusing results:
- /dance with the ogres and they will dance back.
- /kiss and they will say “Aw, me not think it will work out between us.”
- /fart and they will fart back at you and say “Me like to fart too!”
- /wave and they will wave back.
- /angry and they will cower in fear of their angry [King/Queen].
A few comments on the Wowhead page for the quest I linked above mentions a few more emotes:
- /point - “What me do wrong, my king?”
- /roar - They roar back.
- /charge - They charge.
- /cheer and /train also said to work
Several more emotes may work as well that are not listed. Might be a fun thing to experiment with.
I haven’t actually done this quest, so I don’t know if becoming their King/Queen is permanent or temporary, like with the Gordunni Ogres. I shall be looking into this in the near future.
Kinda funny that I can become the king of several Ogre clans, but I can’t get them to mobilize and join the Horde. Maybe I need some better motivation or something…or somehow figure out what the Stonemaul are up to so I can get them to be more of a presence in the Horde. If only…
Dream big, Ogre fans!
