As a raider myself on Skeram, nthx.
Iâd like to see the data for your reference point for âvast majority of the server want thisâ apart from the 12 sweat lords who acknowledge the term âbuff zaddyâ. No thanks! Server has evolved naturally and it can evolve back naturally no need for external intervention.
(Not that my opinion matters just dont like it when a few seem to think they speak for the rest of us)
I donât remember if theyâve mentioned it in other blue posts, or in the latest blizzcon but they arenât going to try and balance servers with forced transfers/mergers because it is mission impossible. Theyâve given their reasons recently(the top being they canât predict players movements nor want to kill off realms/players due to those actions when transfers are available) but the most they will do is -maybe- restrict transfers between/to certain realms or provide free transfers to certain realms but a merger isnât going to happen.
if you want horde to come back to heartseeker or alliance to skeram, youâre gonna need to incite a reroll like other realms have seen or transfer off to a place where youâll get what you want from the realmâs climate.
Hey look its the most miserable man on Heartseeker! welcome Gso!!
Honestly, they should do the same with Incendius and Stalagg for the same reasoning.
-
Free transfers NEVER happened for any server during phase 2.

You didnât answer my question. If Blizzard offered free transfers to Whitemane for Skeram/Stalagg, what would happen, and who would be at fault?
yea this would be nice
With the world buff meta going away, this shouldnât be a problem. +1
Iâm pretty sure Whitemane had server xfers off of it during the times it had 6 hour ques.
Iâm almost 100% sure there was xfers in phase 2 because I took a free xfers off as horde.
I was horde on Stalagg when classic launched.
I went to Heartseeker.
I rerolled on whitemane as alliance right as phase 3 was about to hit. Like a month before it.
Which of you check my logs you will see no phase 1 and 2 logs.
- There is a difference between free transfers to vs free transfers from. Whitemane was a relatively balanced server from the beginning. So there wasnât much impetus to leave it except to escape queues, and that affected both factions equally. So transfers off would have been fairly equal. And very few people even took them when offered. The story for the most imbalanced server, Stalagg, was completely different. The vast majority of transfers were alliance trying to escape being gang-ganked in STV and Searing Gorge.
- Free transfers closed a couple weeks before Phase 2 began. And none were offered again until the pandemic.
- Since you never answered my question Iâll answer it for you. If Blizzard offered free transfers for Skeram/Stalagg to Whitemane, every single player would transfer to Whitemane. And that would create a massive population imbalance, and possibly queues. To alleviate these queues, letâs say that Blizzard offered free transfers off of Whitemane. And letâs pretend that the alliance, now seeing that they are vastly outnumbered because of all the Stalagg/Skeram transfers, decided to leave the server. Whitemane could go from the largest and most-balanced server, to a dead server in a matter of weeks(which is what happened to Incendius). But who would be to blame? Who would you be angry at if that happened?
The people left on those 2 servers wouldnât be happy.
Of you want to leave your server you wait for free xfers or you pay like everyone else.
Why wonât you answer my question?
Your question was answered by blizzard.
All you would do is create more imbalance on the 2 servers people xfer off of to get to Whitemane.
Whitemane had 8 hour ques and people wouldnât xfer off so blizzard opened up layering again on my server to fix it.
See how the people didnât flee and create bad servers and the issue was still fixed?
Again, if Blizzard offered free transfers for Skeram to transfer to Whitemane, who would be to blame if Whitemane became badly imbalanced as a result? The people on Skeram for taking the free transfers? Or Blizzard for offering them?
I just find your insistence on blaming âthe playersâ for everything, while exonerating Blizzard for decisions they made, rather odd and a bit obnoxious.
I fully support this as one of the gmâs on heartseeker. Like 60% of the folks I talk to here (including whole guilds) are talking about going to other servers. A merger would certainly help fix a problem that was made by blizzard themselves not properly preparing for the release of classic. Instead of forcing a player base to pay for a service to play the game they already payed to play, they should absolutely be looking in to fixing the broken and single faction dense servers. DO THE RIGHT THING.
TBH, I donât think they would merge the two. This sort of thing never worked too well in retail, and lead to CRZ.
I like Heartseeker as it is. Hoping thereâs no merge. Sorry server mates who disagree with me.
Please merge.
The people who want this are the same ones who x-ferred off Skeram in the first place.
Theyâre ready to face their fears
