Just coming back from a 7 day ban for “disruptive gameplay”. Is there any possibility to get clarification on what exactly i did so i can avoid doing it again. All i can think of was that i was running around in arathi herbing and killing alliance. Bot report for stealing thier herbs? Or jaded alliance?
US97636044 is the case number i appealed it and recieved the template response with no details. Any help blizzard or admin could provide here would be greatly appriciated.
No, the only time they did was chat actions. Even then, with how the post like this, I’d say you’re kind of looking for reasons to get mad at a group for one reason or another.
It looks like to be some kind of griefing. It shouldn’t be for simply farming herbs but may be due to mob pulls. I am not 100% on that, so you’ll need to wait for your appeal.
Oh i was totally killing alliance with moonkin spam while hiding behind trees and low levels, is pvp not allowed on pvp servers? Is there a date on the report that action was taken to help narrow the incident down? I reopened the apeal after the blanket resonse and have not heard anything for over a week.

No, PvP is not prohibited on a PvP server, that would be ridiculous. As I said, I wasn’t 100%, so I cannot provide more clarification.

These are of course permitted so you would have been actioned for some other behavior, assuming this wasn’t a mistaken action. Since GMs are the ones that handle account actions you are not going to get much help on the forums unfortunately.

Big shout out to GM Nestold, he did finally get back to me and it was pvp related. Wrongfull action. Use care out there ganking alliance, could get you a 9 day ban.

Orylia is a forum moderator so she can’t really do anything about someone’s mistaken account action. They would have to talk with a GM compensating for lost time.
I believe they do give you something when this happens. Not much of something but something either way.
To be frank, it more coming off as you’re just making a jab for the sake of it. The blues here have no power over the appeals and Orylia explains what happened on the back end to enlighten.

As others who were faster said, I think this was on Classic. Does not really matter though.
If someone has PvP Warmode enabled all PvP rules apply. There are no protections from PvP gameplay someone may not like. It is not considered harassment.
Retail or Classic, same rules apply to PvP enabled characters.
Any form of PvP flagging.
War mode, Classic PvP servers or zones, “/pvp” command, aggroing a PvP-flaggrd NPC… same rules.
