Master looter returning in the future

The main focus I care about is my choice to do personal loot or master loot being left in my hands on a toggle switch and not automatically being handed over to the raid/guild leader. Be in raid/guild or leave is not the only option we should have. We should be able to play with our friends and still have the loot system we like.

I did not like in legion when my Personal loot only guild went to master loot randomly for an item. I do not think that power should reside with a handful of elites it should be in the hands of the individual.

So to sum up I would like the choice to give my personal loot luck roll to the guild when I choose not when they choose.

It is one thing to be a part of a team, it is another thing to be bullied into participating.

???

I didn’t ask you to fix anything.

The simple solution is you and your friends would join a guild that agrees to use personal loot for raiding and if they broke that promise you would go elsewhere right?

This was the worst analogy I have seen in quite a while. My god… the amount of reaching there is so bad that it doesn’t even remotely equate. :woman_facepalming:t4:

So you’re making up dramatic scenarios to fit a piss poor narrative? LOL okay.

There have ALWAYS been guilds that raided with PL or the old rolling system before.

I’d say it’s more apples to shoes.

I mean, False implies anything is a true statement, so…

So back to the warlords version of master loot where every pug was master loot and people who didn’t want to take a chance on the raid leader ninja looting and dropping group ended up not getting into PL groups that didn’t exist.

No. PL should be required for pug groups. It should not even be an option.

So the solution for you is “If you help us kill a boss and we screw you for helping us you can always go elsewhere”. I’m starting to doubt your motives.

Mythic Raiding Guilds? That raid on my server? During the hours and days I like raiding?

Illidan horde is either the biggest or 2nd biggest raiding server in NA, so probably.

I’ve never had any issues with “corrupt” loot councils. For things like Mythic Plus, PUG raids and any auto queue system (LFD, LFR) Personal Loot is fine. But for guild raids (there is an in-game threshold for what constitutes a “guild raid”) then the option for Master Loot is fine.

Anyone that argues against it because “Corrupt Loot Councils” should maybe find a new guild, simple as that. No one is forcing you to play with people you think are corrupt. The entire point of a guild is to have a common goal of completing content together and if your goals don’t align with the guild’s overall goals, then you’re clearly in the wrong guild.

Your ability to fit words into my mouth really doesn’t work very well when my post consists of a few lines does it.

99% of the time they probably doesn’t exists, i mean if you think about it, why would a guild that focus on progression would leave some player undergeared, that just doesn’t make any sense.

Most of the time people that made those kind of scenario don’t actually do progression raid.

Strange, because even with no master loot / personal loot barrier existing there’s still plenty of raiders floating around having not found a solid slot in a roster.

Curious.

The rich get richer, the poor get the picture…

So long as it results in guilds being able to intelligently divvy out their loot beyond what PL currently allows you can call it unicorn happy funtime for all I care.

Haven’t considered some of the plaers might just be kinda lousy dps, poor personalities, poor at mechanics or unreliable with making raids?

Loot drama killed 2 guilds I was in during classic.

The guilds that are serious and use it well almost play a different game than the casual masses.

I’m still in favor, but acting like it doesn’t exist or never caused issues is insane.

“Those weren’t real guilds”.

Timbae is really bad at this kind of thing. Not worth engaging with. Timbae claims that Mythic Raiding doesn’t make you a Mythic Raider for instance. Timbae lives in an alternate reality, which is why they seems to be mad when reality doesn’t align with their head-canon.

You said that if somebody gets screwed, it’s their problem. Doesn’t bother you at all. Now why would I think that you’d be screwing over pugs, like disenchanting an item that the pug in the raid is the only one who can use? Hey, he can find some other group to pug into, he doesn’t matter at all.

For someone who said “the end” 30 posts ago you don’t really seem to have finished your piece here yet.

The clear solution is to only allow master loot for guild raids.
