Yeah. There’s a limit placed on it as well for this and you’d have to clear all of it, not just the boss you want.

Which means you aren’t getting a load of blues to shard or vendor. Yeah, it’d make farming a specific boss easier, but then, that’s not what that post was about, was it?

Vendoring blues can make a tremendous amount of gold and that can hurt the economy. I guess you don’t get how bad it is to just print money.

You’d only need two layers to do it.

And yes, hierarchy is part of the magic. You don’t have that much in retail and there’s no magic. They throw purples at you and it means nothing. In Classic, it’s supposed to be exclusive which adds to the oohs and aahs. I’m not at all going to be bleeding edge at all. I’ve got two chars in the 20s. But I want to carve out my own place in an organic world. I can’t do that when people are cheating. It makes honest effort worthless. This kills immersion.

And yet, Lashraque (World second Classic 60) does have 300 devilsaur leather by exploiting layering. So maybe not “bank and bags full” but pretty danged broken.

He can sell them at the normal market rate of 5-10g. He just has to slow play it.

So in other words, he farmed up a bunch of Devilsaur Leather but still has to sell it at market rate. So it has no abnormal effect on the economy.

The price he sells it at is irrelevant. It’s the fact that he has substantially more stock than otherwise would normally be possible that he can sell.
