Makes you wonder how many other bugs exist with layering. they really should have just went with a bunch of servers over this.

Each layer is a separate server. When you get layered, your dungeon id goes to the new server, it sees that id hasnt been made yet on its server and makes an instance with the id, fresh.
I see no real issue with exploiting something that Blizzard built into the game.
Not good. I think Blizz is probably taking steps to remove layers. I’m assuming because they are doing transfers. I hope it’s sooner than later.
it royally screws the games economy. And the economy in vanilla wow is one of the most important aspects of the game.

That’s a strawman. It’s not people getting gear that upsets me. It’s people cheating to get gear.
And yes, hierarchy is part of the magic. You don’t have that much in retail and there’s no magic. They throw purples at you and it means nothing. In Classic, it’s supposed to be exclusive which adds to the oohs and aahs. I’m not at all going to be bleeding edge at all. I’ve got two chars in the 20s. But I want to carve out my own place in an organic world. I can’t do that when people are cheating. It makes honest effort worthless. This kills immersion.

Vendoring blues can make a tremendous amount of gold and that can hurt the economy. I guess you don’t get how bad it is to just print money.

Not a problem. Will do. Would like to give Blizz a chance to enforce their TOS first. I am also not going to go quietly. So I will raise a stink as equal to my disgust and anger at these human trash for taking this from me.

Yeah, it’d be a damn shame if people could easily reset dungeons and run them over again to farm items and vendor them!
Yeah. There’s a limit placed on it as well for this and you’d have to clear all of it, not just the boss you want. It’s an exploit. Stop trying to make excuses unless you are engaged in it as well or planning on it. At which point I’d wish you the worst.
