I was already dead set against retail, but after this, I’m not buying another Blizzard game again. I’m done. Not even WC3 reforged. They are not banning anyone and it’s trash how beholden to cash they are. They will ignore their own TOS and justice in order not to upset the human trash exploiting this.

30 day ban and deletion of items. This is getting out of hand. These pieces of trash are crapping all over the integrity of the game. If Blizz doesn’t make an example of them, all it does is encourage them to find the next exploit and exploit it as hard as they can since they know no action is coming.

Apparently not just the continents were being layered as we were led to believe. From what I’ve heard this was also reported to Blizzard in the beta and nothing was done.

It’s an MMO, like it are not we compare ourselves and our in-game accomplishments to the rest of the players.
Cheating is cheating. Whether it’s Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France or some neck beard in their mothers basement playing WoW, it’s cheating to get ahead.

The integrity of the game is openly being atacked and I care too much about the game to say nothing. I’m having a blast and these exploiters are robbing me of my motivation to play. Of course I’m going to be mad. I went from anxiously looking forward to playing tonight to not…because this destroys the sense of immersion…the magic of Classic.

Between all the in game chat logs, drop logs, and other things blizzard has, I’ll be amazed if we don’t hear of a purge happening in a week, even if only for a week . For all the mistakes made in this launch, they’ve been fairly consistent in replying to mass scale issues like this one once they’re addressed publicly. See: LFGClassic, Gold layer mining concerns.
Friend, if all it takes to destroy your motivation to play Classic is other people maybe getting gear, then I posit you aren’t actually enjoying Classic that much. You don’t believe in any magic or immersion, you believe in being superior to others.
Yeah, I’m really exploiting the heck out of layering to get my level 37 BIS.
