I report all GDKP ads on any realms and versions of wow I play on.
It doesn’t technically break tod except for the fact you are spamming chats which is against tos.
However since gdkp’s are associated with gold sellers and laundering I report them…

I hardly see pots go above 400 on the high end, my average pot is 180-200g.
Your made up numbers are not the norm you are trying to paint.

Head over to Loch Modan. Idk if they form a raid or something to stay in the same layer, but there are layers just infested with mage bots. I had to stop leveling my warlock because every quest mob was being farmed by lvl 12-25 mages. Go check out the Troggs near the caves.I logged out and came back later and it was fine, till it merged my layers again and I was forced to leave.
In Westfall, you will find mage bots that form parties and grind boars and other mobs. Stand outside of stockades and there are bots that fly hack infesting the prison. WC is full of bots too along with the merlocks in the wetlands. There are also many bots that are more hidden fishing and doing stuff like that.
It’s not as bad now but the wolves in Duskwood used to be infested with hunter bots while Hilsbrand had hunter bots poaching all the animals taking up nearly every spawn on the right side of the zone.
It was not so bad compared to the other servers because the server was locked stopping them from creating characters. As soon as that restriction was removed they flooded the server.
Good. I hope you, your gold-buying buddies/customers and the gold sellers get mass reported.
And you deserve it for supporting RMT.
GDKPs support RMT. Period.

because gdkps are ruining the game.
gdkps normalize buying gold bringing RMT into the mainstream.
when there are GDKPS people stop raiding with a group of people they know and turn to raiding regularly with random people in order to make gold.
Every other form of making gold becomes obsolete as it’s botted to high heaven and keeps the most amount of people raidlogging rather than playing the game.
It sucks the point of the game out of the game.
Do you deny that they encourage it?
People LOVE to rant and rave about how blizzard should and never will ban all the bots that ruin their precious economy but turn around and support something like GDKPs.
If you can support bots why shouldn’t blizzard?
You cannot name change in classic. /Ignore them. I can’t name a single time this has happened to me though.
Gdkps are not healthy for the game, they’re amazing at laundering botted gold sure. But they are absolutely terrible for the longevity of the game.
I encourage you to play on whitemane classic era and try to get gear without swiping your credit card first. It is not possible. BIS gear is running for anywhere from $100 - $2000.
That is absolutely insane, yet GDKPs outweigh normal raid organization SO heavily.

Just a friendly reminder too that participating in a gdkp and receiving gold that was bought, even if you didnt buy it. Can get you banned. So dont pikachu face when/if it happens. Numerous people on CS forums got caught up in it and blizz has said it’s your responsibility to know where the gold you receive comes from. (Not really feasible but that’s their stance)

Buying gold is against ToS. Buying items with gold in game isn’t. If you don’t like gdkp then don’t participate. Pretty simple, no reason to get all salty.

I too am anti-vax classic guy but understand this is the only way to beat the bots. Everything else is yelling at the clouds. Just have to figure out what you hate more.

You cant post GDKP in lfg…its literally in the rules as an example
Let’s say you raid from the start and need 3 more pieces and don’t like making alts. You do the extra quests and farm a little and make 100 g. Your raid pieces never drop maybe one piece every month.
So you quit the game for next patch maybe never come back. I’n comes gdkp. Assuming nobody buys gold you can help people gear alts or gear people who started game later and make 15-20g per raid.
If it keeps the game population healthy why is it a bad system? Pretend gold buying didn’t exist it’s actually a fair way to raid if people want to. I know people who don’t gdkp that bought gold. I bet the percent of people who buy vs don’t buy gold is the same for gdkp and non gdkpers.
Don’t get me wrong I wish bots and gold buying would be eliminated. But even if it was gdkp as a raid system keeps people interested near the end of a raid before next release instead of them quitting the game maybe to never come back.
Plus most people have seen a YouTube highlight 100 million view gdkp where a gold cap buyer buys a wotlk super rare item.
When in reality most gdkp 99.999999% of the time the pot gives 10-20g to each person in classic.
You will forever get reported for gdkps specially on SoD. It promotes gold buying which = more bots = an over inflated market = un happy player base. GDKPs are not good for the game, it’s basically a pay to win version of the game.

We should remove trading and remove tolls for loot and make it personal loot. Trading and gear rolling also promotes RMT

We should remove trading and add pl than also if thats the reason we’re mad about Gdkps… Any peice of gear that you can exchange from player to player can inherently promote RMT. Gdkps are actually good for the game. It gives players a reason to go back for that specific peice of gear they need that they would probably otherwise just not farm because rolling against 20 other players isn’t that fun when you literally don’t need anything else from said content.
