I thought I was the only one seeing it.
Then why are you opposed to a compromise that would allow people to do that, provided that you can still play the way you want? A stance you have taken, multiple times.
Still pushing the Bailey. This is trolling.
The way I want to play is with no pet and 30% more DPS which is what I get with the Eagle. Speccing into Lone Wolf still requires me to lose the additional DPS and leaves me without a pet anyway.
You arenāt entitled to people taking your ācompromiseā seriously. This isnāt a negotiation. You donāt actually make any decisions.
None of us do. We donāt work for Blizz. Some of us have tried the change, and minus a few specific bugs, appreciate the new feel.
And we are looking for a solution that allows you to still have that, will allowing us to retain the playstyle we enjoy. A compromise you have repeatedly insulted and derided.
And you arenāt entitled to dictate whoās feedback is worth more than anyone else, either. So your argument to the contrary is equally invalid.
I just have to say, knowing you prefer to play without a pet, thank you so much for going to bat so hard for keeping the option for us who who do love to use our pets. I am glad that there are reasonable and rational people in this thread strongly advocating for player agency.
Except even if Blizzard is aware of the extremely frustrated and vocal feedback about taking away our ability to use a pet at all, the fact that they have remained silent on it further exacerbates our frustration and makes us feel unheard. They have not said anything to address our concern to use our pets, and that contributes directly to use pushing the issue.
Frankly, I could care less about any of the other changes and how they play. If they benefit you and you enjoy them, great. If they donāt, thatās feedback. But for many of us, just having the ability to use our pet taken away is enough to leave vocal feedback about this change, and we will continue to do so until it is acknowledged by Blizzard.
Again, many compromises have been made by the pro-pet group to keep all of the changes the petless people want while still allowing those of us who prefer to use our pets to keep them, essentially by putting the abilities onto the hunter and not the pet. Thatās a win for everyone. Until Blizzard takes the time to engage with the community being affected by these changes, those of us who are passionate about our pets will continue the dialogue to voice our concerns.
This is evident. However, what youāre doing is flooding space dedicated specifically for that with spam.
One, itās not a negotiation. Two, the āsuggestionsā yāall keep posting invoke the same inconsistencies and problems that lone wolf has had this whole time. Itās not actually a compromise. The things yāall are suggesting are counter to the point of the rework of the spec. Yāall are ignoring those explanations as much as youāre accusing āthe other sideā (which there isnāt actually an other side, just people not freaking out) of not listening to you.
Youāre the only one using that word. Itās player feedback. Devs will do with it as they please. Everyone konws this. This isnāt some revelation or the gotcha you think it is.
Thereās a number of ways to handle keeping a pet option for MM. Iāve suggested one. Thereās probably 30 different ways of doing it I havenāt thought of. To discard the possibility is admitting a lack of imagination and incompetence on the part of an RPG maker.
Nope. Iām proving feedback on the changes to the class and spec Iāve mained for 15 years. This is my feedback.
Again, it is feedback, which is literally just as valuable as anything you have to say. As others have pointed out, there are plenty of alternative ways for you to get whatever design changes you want for the spec without sacrificing the ability for those of us who play with a pet to have one. The anti-pet folk are literally the only ones who not only want to discard your pet but are incapable of finding solutions that let you have those changes you crave without sacrificing our pets. Itās almost as if you want to get what you want while not letting us have what we want out of spite. Thatās pretty sad, honestly.
No, youāre screaming into the void.
Sounds like the bargaining stage of grief. 11.1 will bring changes you will hate, and some of us will be ok with. Step 5 is acceptance. Iām hoping you reach that sooner rather than later.
I do love seeing you project your expectations based on nothing but your own preconceptions. It makes for a lovely comedy.
Iād like ranch with my word please. Think you can have it ready in like 5 mins? Thanks champ.
If you think thatās word salad, I weep for the literacy of your region.
No you donāt.
You do understand it is a forum violation to deliberately edit and mislead someoneās post when replying, right? But since you are still in the bargaining phase, you might want to brace yourself for the possibility that Blizzard is not interested in compromise. If they were, they might have spoken up and acknowledged that option. I think what scares you the most is more people are fine with the change, it will be permanent, and you will have to choose between Beastmaster and Survival if you plan to play Hunter moving forward.
Are you stalking me IRL now too?
Iām not making you say something you didnāt say but if you feel I crossed a line, feel free to report. Iāll skip over the rest of your irrelevant psychoanalysis, as I doubt youāre a qualified psychologist. If you are, then youād know better than to analyze people you havenāt personally assessed.
Blizzard is notoriously bad about responding to any feedback. So this is evidence of nothing.
Iām not scared of anything. Theyāre free to ruin their game however they want, I just forsee them doing what they did the last two times: realizing that they made a bad overcorrection and fix it.
