Pets who keep me in combat in pvp, finally they got rid of it. If I want pets I have BEAST mastery.

This could have been accomplished without killing the pet off for MM.
Without a pet to tank for you, you will not be at long range against elites and rare elites.

If I am running solo, I will swap to BM for two pets. After all, two pets are better than one. The “support” is intended for group content. 30% DPS increased output can make a huge difference in M+, and raiding, which is where this spec will thrive. I can swap specs for delves and open world content.

Maybe let’s take away the ability of resto druids from using bear and cat.

Hyperbole is silly. However, if they made a Wolf form, and removed bear and cat, and took us back to the original Worgen lore of the Druid, that could be fun. And, if they make a petless Warlock, I would imagine they would get a huge buff to DPS. Are you really this lost, and this desperate over a hunter spec?

Nah, it’s gnomes losing their hair styles and being reduced to only pink hair and pigtails. OP definitely is ok with losing player choice!

MM is already top aoe/single target damage on warcraft logs. Seems unlikely they would give MM hunters more.
Or maybe I just have perspective and accept change for what it is. I am not desperately clinging to a pet I already have in my 2 other specs.
I was unaware I had to post on a retail character, or that you were like some of the others and attacking the person instead of discussing the topic. I guess class is a lost art form for some.

You can have the DPS boost without taking away player freedom.
No one I know is advocating for changing the rest of the rework.

You don’t do M+, and it shows. DPS is a major ask in a lot of fights.
And as I mentioned previously, which I will now repeat: buffing for the sake of buffing is bad design. Redesigning the class to function at a higher level is more sustainable.

I’m not desperately clinging to numbers because I don’t need to do what you think I need to do to be invited to things I want to do. Or accomplish the things I want.

The pet can simply not be there by pressing your dismiss button, these hunters wouldn’t survive in a real scenario.

Buffing an existing spec is lousy design. Increasing the output of a redesigned spec is sustainable. Not sure why you keep trying to put words in people’s mouths.
