You made this kind of mistake with SV once and ruined it for a lot of people. Heck, you went and changed it into something entirely different from what is was from Wrath until you ruined it.
Maybe try realizing that you have, baby steps first.

I’ll give you one bonus response. You made a mistake earlier you still haven’t owned up to; assuming I was pushing back against the mechanical changes.
Instead, you gave me a horrendous run-on sentence about how you still felt justified in griping at me about Lust.
I don’t care. The change is good, the only problem I have is that it’s an eagle, and customization is unlikely to stop it from being a bird given the way they’ve designed it.
Since you won’t be getting another response, here are some bonus facts for you;
Falconry birds do not spot for you. The bird does the hunting. Terriers, a branch of dog breed, also do small prey hunting of a similar variety. Any animal could, in a fantasy setting, ‘spot’ for you, same as they have a bird doing so.
Ergo, there is no reason for it needing to be a bird.

Since I know you’ll read this, here’s also some more bonus facts for you.
The patron saint and spirit beast of Hunters is Ohn’ara, which is always displayed in game as an Eagle.
Therefore, that’s all the justification Blizzard needs to make the default spell effect an Eagle.
Your assertion that it’s supposed to be about falconry is also null because eagles sparsely used in the sport to the point where their inclusion is nearly negligible and you seem smart enough to know that small instances should never define the rule.

You’re right, I had to take a look and they’re not on pvp forums, but the toxic attitude is still there. They seem young and overly aggressive, having to be “right” about everything, even when they’re not. They’re a dime a dozen on here, sadly.
It’s not worth it, they’re not real people and when this drama blows over they’ll cease to exist until some other ‘alt relevant’ drama appears.
