Man, Revendreth is just *Chef's Kiss*

Closest I’ll look to Arthas lich king attire lol

I have completely fallen in love with Revendreth. Everything from the architecture to the characters, music, dialogue, and the story, it just made me smile so many times. Then again, I am a fan of the gothic stuff.

I cannot wait to get the plate helm for my Blood Knight paladin. Oh, and I am digging the covenant campaign so far. The Ember Court? Love it, though having to do the RSVP quests over and over again isn’t great. The only downside so far.

And the Venthyr are definitely in the holiday spirit this year.

This is the only thing I disagree with. I really don’t like being a butler.

I have only done the zone intro, but I can’t wait to do the covenant storyline; even if I did indulge in spoilers. I really, really wish I could just have my own castle realm complete with vampire overlords and gargoyle army… someday.

Travelling via jumping off walls with slow fall effects (I use the umbrella toy, personally) just feels fun for some reason.

The zone just feels great when you use it’s verticality

Theotar wearing two hats lol! God this zone is good!

Too bad the Convenent ability for Ven’thyr is a dps loss on destro, I wanted to join them so badly I almost did it in spite of that. Pros to Blizzard for making this one sub actually consider with weight and thought which Covenant to choose.

I’m so immersed in this thing I don’t wanna log off; this zone has given me video game purpose. It feels like Cata Silverpine; my favorite part is that this place is bustling and wanting to continue the storyline is competing with Netflix and chill time.

Only difference is you could complete Silverpine within minutes.

Edit: This in-game music and this choir has got me entralled.

Most of the zones are beautifully done and you can see that blizzard took their time with this expac. Revendreth was fun while questing there. The rebels had compelling NPCs you can cheer for

same. The music is the best. I could swear the theme song sounds familiar, but I can’t for the life of me figure out where I heard it before.

I also love how you have positive interactions with all the other Covenants. I’d kind of assumed they’d be at odds or at least reluctant partners but they all get along well and it’s just fun seeing how characters address PCs from other Covenants.

Bastion admires the martial prowess of Maldraxxus and seems to feel some kinship with the Venthyr over a shared complicated history with living memory.

Like personally my gear ivl is kinda meh right now. Because I’m just more interested in getting characters into every covenant so I can see their stories than I am with the actual gameplay. I wasn’t terribly interested in Bastion or Ardenweald but the interactions I’ve had with them make me want to see what their deal is in depth with another toon.

I have also wondered this, and I wonder if bastion has considered using 7 secret herbs and spices for this.

I always wondered why the Chores WQ had you help the Stewards feed the lazy aspirants rather than having the lazy layabouts grab their own damn food.

But I suppose being a big meaty bird in the middle of hungry aspirants is a bit dangerous.

It can only lead to one thing, a bastion fried steward franchise that’ll become super successful if the aspirants aren’t fed.

I like the interactions and the dynamics. There may be a bit of a healthy rivalry between some, but for the most part there is just cooperation and respect when its needed. I also do buy why each Maw Walker has to choose a single Covenant. Since it is occasionally implied that there are multiples, then its generally implied that there are “Maw Walkers” doing what you are doing in each Covenant.

Its a full time job building even one of these afterlives back up.

I find it rather appalling that there is no Lust harvester or Sinstone when Blizzard has LAURA FREAKING BAILEY on their voice-acting payroll!

Pathetic.

Basically yes, a pretty light castlevania if you ask me
