You have it.
visibly worse product? to you, perhaps. I think it fits the entire aesthetic of maldraxxus. Itâs UNDEAD, like everything in that covenant.
I think it has a fine amount of effort put into it, and if I had an undead rogue, It would look absolutely fantastic on it.
No he doesnât. He has a Gladiator set. The only lich set is the cloth set.
I love the Necrolords leather set. It looks like it made from a left over abomination and Iâm leveling a leather class just so I can get it .
It looks like you crawled inside an Abomination and are now wearing it as a suit.
That is pretty much on-point for Necrolords.
Entirely subjective.
His set looks exactly like what a plate-wearing lich would wear. Because itâs literally what the most well known plate wearing lich wore.
Leather doesnât look like something anyone would wear intentionally. It looks like something sewn together without a second thought and sent to the front to die painfully.
If the extra arm on the shoulder wacked things in combat it would be even better!
I really love it, especially because it complements the new Forsaken skin colors.
Of course, itâs a pretty divisive love or hate set that will not be everyoneâs cup of tea because the theme is very pointed, so I get where youâre coming from.
Kalzhun gave you the answer:
Itâs no more different than in Ardenweil plate mog which is made of shiny wood and orbs. But instead of wood you are intentionally identical to an abomination.
Again, you may not like that theme, but it is the theme of that covenant and fits perfectly. It would have been the same if leather followed the theme of mail and plate ended up as a huge abomination with more plate and extra arms in order to represent the House of Constructs.
Who would that be?
itâs from the House of Constructs. This is quite literally a matter of that you donât like how the set looks so you think it should be removed.
And I would be complaining then too, because no armor class deserves to be the butt of some in-house joke by the developers.
The Lich King.
The Lich King isnât a lich though.
Kelâthuzad is a lich. And besides that set looks nothing like the Lich King. Only similarity is the dark metal.
He literally is. Heâs an undead necromancer, and that is the textbook definition of a lich.
And the well-placed bone/skull designs. And the blue energy aura. And the spikes.
I know many people that hate the groot⊠AHAM wood plate set. Itâs subjective, for you may be a joke but for others it is good enough to use it.
Since Warcraft 3 the Warcraftâs concept of abomination exist and in fact, this was tried on leather before:
Itâs based on a lesser abomination that serves as foot soldier and SPY (rogue) in the Icecrown Citadel raid.
Undead spies do not wear anything like that c:
They wear cloth or are abominations :3
The Lich Kingâs soul is not bound to a phylactery. Ergo, he is not a lich. He is a Death Knight.
The Lich Kingâs soul is bound to a phylactery. That phylactery just happens to also be his weapon.
I must be in the minority because I absolutely love it. Reminds me of going to stinky and rot face in ICC. Itâs also a nice change in the color pallet compared to the other sets in the covenant.
On the DID? Yeah thatâs pretty bad.
That is literally the problem I am complaining about.
Not only does it look like it was fished out of somethingâs stomach, it looks nothing like the other three sets, which all look great.
