Maldraxxus leather set

No. I haven’t even seen the Ardenweald sets.

Yes. That’s the problem.

The other three sets look like something a necromancer would wear. That’s a leadership position in an undead army.

Abominations are the opposite of leaders. They are literally garbage thrown together for fodder.

Its okay, everyone will be Venythr for the OP skip ability. I am looking forward to the endless crying threads after SL is out and people are getting declined from high M+ keys and such.

Its wonderful! Some of us like it, sorry!

False. Only the cloth set is a Necromancer set.

Except one of the major leaders in Maldraxxus is a giant abomination.

One of the Margraves of Maldraxxus. House of Constructs.

He looks like a dumpster fire and will probably die like one in the first dungeon.

He is not something anyone with sense wants to dress like.

Nobody cares. It’s still an abomination and it’s an abomination set. Don’t like it? Go to Bastion or another Covenant.

The tint and race used in the preview probably don’t help much.

The gray and green version looks a lot better on, say, an orc rogue.

Doesn’t matter what color you use. “Partially digested” doesn’t look good on anyone.

Dude again, if you don’t like it go to another Covenant. It’s not hard.

We have already more than 10 leathers sets that look the same and more are comings with the very same theme (fancy hat + pirate/vampire hunter stuff, it looks the same). The quality may be increasing, but its like having 20 pikachus with varying model qualities instead of having 20 unique pokemon.

It fits the Covenant perfectly, YOU ARE AN ABOMINATION, in that covenant an abomination is a powerful guardian that will wreck any intruder apart. You got a lot of those guys guarding/combating/assisting in that place. So it may be that you don’t like it, but it fits perfectly with a necromantic faction that assemble new soldiers with the pieces of the fallen in combat.

Oh yes off course, we all became pajama yetis willingly

That’s subjective, abominations there are leaders forged in by the bodies of the ones used for fodder in battle (when they died in life). In fact, there is a cutscene showing the infighting between the leaders of that Covenant, one of the leaders is a powerful Abomination and a Lich.
So your point is false with all context provided.

You are leather, you can’t be a necromancer, you only joined the Necrolords, so just like warriors, you aren’t and can’t be a necromancer. It’s the necrolord faction, it includes Liches (cloth), undead minions (plate/mail) and abominations/spies (leather).

50% must like it from what I have seen. Just go with the fancy vampires… they have “style”.
On the other hand, a truly bad set would be the blue faction (Ardensomething), is literally a caster mog… that rogues, DH and monks will have to use… genius.

Gonna have to agree, that actually does look better.

That’s not the point.

We have three sets that look powerful and imposing, and one set that looks like something threw it up.

If someone is picking their covenant based on transmog, the transmog they get should look at least somewhat like the other sets in that covenant. For thematic unity if nothing else.

there are other transmog sets in the game, lad. it’s not the end of the world because -you- don’t like something.

leather is also getting the first trench coat mogs aside from the kul’tiran heritage set. so its not like leather is getting nothing but garbage. you dont like one set, calm down and move on

And there is thematic unity. Each set is based on the 3 remaining houses in Maldraxxus

Plate - House of the Chosen
Cloth - House of Rituals
Mail - House of the Chosen
Leather - House of Constructs

Just because you don’t like a set doesn’t mean it should be changed. The set is fine as is. Go back to your fairies in Ardenweald.

That’s subjective. Other people like me would see it more “WOW, I am an actual undead assemble from different pieces, I EVEN HAVE ANOTHER ARM!!!” so…

Arderwhelath has thematic unity, it ended good? No, leather and mail suffered because of that.

OKAY, I want my lich themed plate mog now
Oh wait, it only applies when you do not like the mog?

It’s not about what I like, it’s about intentionally giving leather a visibly worse product, with a dramatically different theme.

The other three sets have a constant theme. Muted colors, bone decals, blueish death energy.

Then you have leather, which looks like something that was found in something else’s stomach and glued together into an outfit.

If the other three sets looked just as misshapen and haphazard we wouldn’t be having this conversation, because at the very least the sets are consistently ugly.

Once upon a time everyone has different opinions.

The end.

Methinks there will be about a bazillionty Forsaken rogues wearing this who will respectfully disagree.

Or, well, they might agree that it doesn’t look good, but that this is kinda the point. :stuck_out_tongue:
