Strawman attack on semantics. Here: No one who values their time and isn’t willing to wait in a queue for 2 hours is going to be running LFR in 10.1. That whole methodology of waiting in a queue forever is literally anti-LFR intent.
It’s not the only reason to run it. Thanks though for acknowledging it’s not a fair system and it’s literally giving special treatment to a specific player.
Yes, players who are there are being restricted from equal opportunity at loot to someone who has not dedicated themselves to that character to the same level the other person has, who clearly has as an indication from the higher ilvl on their gear.
I do know what it means, you seem not to. You feel those with lower ilvl are entitled to the loot. You are literally backing special treatment to those with lower ilvl aka entitlement.
I do have a second druid maxed out just for this purpose. So yes, I am indeed serious about doing this. I’ve managed to get 2 items from LFR using my alt - tier shoulders and tier legs.
No, that wasnt a strawman attack. That was a quote. I didn’t misrepresent what you meant. There was no indication that you “meant” you dont want to have to sit in queue for 2 hours.
No, but it is the MAIN reason to run it and what it was designed for. That is why getting gear you can use is prioritized over getting gear you want for cosmetics. That isn’t unfair - that’s just the way the system is designed. Is that design perfect? Nope. Can it be improved? Yep. Does that mean you are being unfairly treated for having better gear? Nope.
You had that same opportunity before you geared up from normal raids though. Just because you have been playing your character longer doesn’t mean someone else who just started is less dedicated. Talk about unequal opportunity and entitlement…
Because you played the game longer on your toon you are somehow more entitled because you carried the raid? Again, the system is setup to give gear to people who need the gear to progress to higher content, not for cosmetics or sharding. That’s not special treatment. That is literally how the system works. You believe you are entitled to that gear for cosmetics and sharding regardless of what the system is setup to accomplish just because you showed up.
I’ll leave this here for you:
Entitlement - the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment.
One last thing: Nothing is stopping any of you from setting up a pre-made LFR group just for transmog. Just saying.
If you had any of the experience you state you have then you’d have known this without me spelling it out.
There’s a lot of people in history who have fallen back to this argument and in most cases it’s related to something extremely bad and unjust. This tells me all I need to know. Wow.
Well this is a lie, LFR doesn’t open at the same time as the rest of Raid.
Do you even do LFR or are you here to just argue for inequality like a troll? I’m done here, I’ve stated my points and if the community managers see the thread they’ll bring that and they can make their decisions. Im explicitly done conversing with you, I won’t see your next response so spare yourself the time.
I’ve felt like, if people are going for mogs, they should be allowed to roll need, but only until the appearance is unlocked. Mogs last longer than stat items. My paladin has a look that mixes the blood elf heritage, and T2.
Yeah, but those people were legitimately oppressed by a system designed to keep them oppressed. You are not those people. Comparing transmog and need greed loot systems in a video game to actual oppression. This tells me all I need to know. Wow.
Again, I have offered solutions to the problem and stated why I think the system works just fine the way it is. Why can’t you form a 25 man LFR mog run again? You want to change the system to benefit you. That is the definition of special treatment.
I really think people don’t know the definition of “literally.” It is possible. You form a 25 man raid with 2 tanks, 5 healers, and the rest DPS. You queue up for LFR. You loot items and trade them as needed. Win win. The only thing that would stop a group from doing this is not having enough tanks or healer classes to queue with.
Cool thing about running Ras weekly on my alt hunter for the bow is the high turnover means I typically don’t have to do Brood and roll in when they have multiple determination stacks.
Evolved… Personal Loot Options. Imagine a smaller-in-scale vault. When you kill a boss and are fortunate enough to get loot, you’ll be able to choose between a few pieces. That is, until this isn’t good enough.
One day Folks will just go to a major city and suck on a huge straw and get a face full of loot… Until that’s not good enough…
