It’s cheaper than a movie with popcorn and pop. One movie.
It’s not at all overpriced. Considering that just to listen to music with the screen off on youtube music it’s 10 a month, WoW is relatively cheap.
WoW is one of the best value games ever for its price.
Actually, no, because my point was completely off topic. So, your point was a but wonky, yeah?
And that has nothing to do, or has any value for, or changes against the statement that I’d made.
Dude, I know it’s Sunday, but why are you being so argumentative? In general, not getting this.
What? Yeah, not bothering anymore, not petty enough to put you on ignore, but I know the definition of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
The sub change came down to exchange rates, nothing more. Again when this happened to Canadians, you didn’t see us in an uproar.
Happy WoWing!
This. I miss going to movies, but even when I could, my ticket was $8, and one soda, maybe a small popcorn, that came to $20 right there. I go in, see the movie, two hour experience.
WoW, for $15, gives me 720 possible hours of enjoyment in one month.
Wow yep this thread is full of old people most likely boomers no you cant go cut grass for wow sub monkey everything is more expensive now. NO kidding you used to find the money for wow this was before smart phone Bill’s was thing And the 10 other subscription for everything else
That would still be a very viable option if… They didn’t NERF to the ground the gold you can make in old dungeons and old raids by like 60-80% while keeping if not making Tokens cost MORE.
Now the only way to make gold is to offer carries or farm extremely boring resources like ores, herbs and leather and so on, no thanks.
Let’s HOPE they do not nerf BFA dungeons too by the time we can reach level 60 and solo farm them fast since they could potentially be good for gold farming.
You’re the one responding to me. I get nothing out of your posts.
Again, please try to understand.
Let’s use clearer numbers, because that might help.
if a person is used to spending 1 dollar a month on a sub…
Then that sub is brought into line with other price points…
That price is now 15 dollars…
That person who is used to spending 1 dollar… is now spending 14 more.
How do you not get this, or are you trolling? I’m honestly hoping you’re trolling at this point.
=\ The reduced purchasing power of the AUD =/= Blizzard raising prices.
There is a reason economic activity is measure in Int’l dollars, set at the 2000 USD. If you convert the $1 AUD loaf of bread from 2012 to the $1.25 AUD loaf from 2020, they have THE SAME VALUE.
Again, there is no real increase in AUS pricing.
If Aussies want to feel better, they should cross out all the $1 marks on their currency and replace it with $.75
Umm, you do get that there are like 4 people right now disagreeing with you not just me. So who is trolling?
Really bye! Happy WoWing!
You can afford this game on unemployment. If you can’t afford $15 a month maybe you don’t need to be playing WoW anyway and should focus on improving your life situation. Stop living beyond your means.
You realize WoW probably skews older than most every other online game? Or is that lost in your no punctuation internet speak too?
The younger generations absolutely ARE getting nickeled and dimed to death in so many ways, much of it outside of their control, but when it comes to entertainment, you have to take ownership of where you spend those nickels and dimes.
Want to play WoW? Don’t sub Netflix. Want Netflix? Don’t sub WoW. You have ignored some very fine suggestions from some rather polite people in this thread so you can hammer at the issue you’re not getting what you want for entertainment, for free.
There may come a day when everyone just shares their talents for free, and we all share the fruits of our labors with each other, no pay walls, no subscriptions, just equitable sharing, but this is not that day, and it likely will not come anytime soon. People who program need to eat, too. They work hard on tight schedules to produce content to make people happy. Don’t you think they have a right to pay for things they want, too?
I already said you have to have netflix this isnt an option if you want a girlfriend you have to have Netflix it’s like having a car or a job back when you boomers were young. Its essential.
Or, I don’t know you could be more entertaining? Sorry but come on now. I need netflix or I can’t get chicks is probably the funniest thing I’ve ever read here.
Netflix is not essential. You don’t have to have it, and if you need Netflix because you want a girlfriend, then my friend you need to up your game and learn how to give your partner the love and attention they need rather than just running a half a dozen movies you hope you won’t be watching.
Just because you disagree doesn’t mean you’re correct. Money is fungible, so at the end of the day, all that matters is that a person is spending more for the same product.
Yes, there is. Because they would have had a cheaper rate, and are now paying more. You’re conflating the leveling of the price with an actual price adjustment, and the two aren’t the same.
OK, this actually proves my point, because their dollar actually bought them more WoW time, now it buys them less.
This is true. Disregarding everything else said, because I wasn’t paying attention, this much is true.
You’re just trolling right? I mean, you have to be…
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the subscription price at all. As others have mentioned, it surprises me that the price has remained steady for so long.
