Make subscription cheaper wow is overpriced

You know… I’m either in the mindset that the sub fee has to dramatically increase and Blizzard needs to stop squeezing the turnip (ONE FEE- get rid of this in-store crap), OR they need to bite the bullet completely and make the game freemium.

Right now, we’re one foot in, one foot out. And it’s frustrating for both sides.

That’s well beyond the point, but you haven’t been able to follow the conversation up until now, so I guess that’s as good as we can expect from you. So, nice try fella!

keep side stepping the fact that they aren’t paying any more than us. I would too If I was as desperate as you to “win”

If you don’t know anything about this, then why do you bother responding?

there you go side stepping again

I am not attempting anything. I am just saying good luck to you thinking you will protect yourself by hoping and wishing that others will do what you want.

I probably would just be hiring someone if I was in the situation you are talking about to pick up things, IF delivery or curbside pickup wasn’t available. And I can’t think where you are that those aren’t available or close enough to use.

A snippet from an article.

The increase is considerable, as well. Currently, Australians pay $16.50 per month in a 1-month recurring subscription – in Australian dollars, of course. The price has now been increased to $19.95 per month.

Now, you probably don’t know this but, $19.95 is higher than $16.50.

you should re-roll rogue with that evasion!

They’re spending more of a devalued currency to achieve the same total value, which they paid originally. It’s not higher than it previously was.

Using 60 Quarters instead of 3 Fivers to pay your $15.00 bill isn’t a price increase just because 60 > 3.

Seriously, if you have nothing to add, why do you respond? You sound like an immature 12 year old with some of the things you’ve said. Now, if you actually want to debate something that I’ve said, by all means. Or do you need crayons? :crayon: :crayon:

Because your “wahhh I want my discounted sub price back” attitude is amusing

could not ask for cheaper entertainment, it is fine at current cost.

If the previous amount was devalued, then that was the set value of the product being purchased. if the price went higher… then it costs more. Yes, it is quite literally higher than it previously was. They have to spend more money for the same product. Just because the price was brought into line with other price points doesn’t mean that they aren’t physically spending MORE MONEY for the same product.

I don’t know how to explain this any easier for you guys. This is almost absurd at this point.

I’m not Australian, and I don’t really care about the price point either way. It’s a conversation on a public forum. But, way to prove me wrong about being a 12 year old.

yes, you not understanding how economics works and how it relates to different currencies is indeed absurd.

For 50 cents a day, WoW is the biggest bang of entertainment for your buck. And for as much content they provide over the span of an xpac you get more than your moneys worth if you actually play. If you don’t play then don’t sub and find something else to spend your money on.

I happen to play WoW 6 to 8 hours per day, I get every bit of my $15 per month out of it.

When you have something to add to the conversation, I’ll be happy to read it, even if it will be a waste of my time.

Not nitpicking, but this is a common phrase used to sucker people into payment plans. I just thought it was interesting.

What is absurd is your continual lack of acknowledgement of exchange rates.

15 AUD was = 15 USD; now it’s not.

When you have to open with this, you are.

It’s basic math, they don’t advertise the game like this, it’s merely us breaking down the cost of the 30 days you pay for.

Goo, you’re trying and failing, and I almost feel bad for you.

This has NOTHING to do with exchange rates. This has EVERYTHING to do with a price point that a person is used to. So, if an Australian person is used to spending 1 dollar for a loaf of bread, but a company says they’re bringing it in line with other price points and sets it to 2 dollars… well, an Australian person is now paying 1 dollar more for that loaf of bread.

Please… for the love of god… PLEASE tell me you understand?
