Things I don’t understand…how no young person can afford to play WoW at a cost that hasn’t changed since 2004. We all managed in some way.
How WoW is so stagnant with all that sweet sweet cash they are still profiting off of since 2004. Oh wait I know that one, the Kotick Virus.
Yes, but do tell me when WoW has upped their sub? Never in 16 years. That’s a fact, and as much as you drag up inflation existing, it doesn’t in our sub cost.
Kids used to mow their neighbors grass or shovel a driveway or two. There is always a way to make money, it takes initiative which sadly it seems a lot of the new generation is lacking.
I mean if you have a way to lower the sub price without bringing in a dump truck full of shop crap, likely including power for pay, I’m all ears, but they’re not going to lower the sub price without making up for it elsewhere.
I mean realistically, why would they increase it?
The USD is still way higher than the CAD for example, so when I pay my monthly fee it’s more like 22 bucks a month for me.
The sub price is 15, it has been 15, and we’ve already seen substantial cuts to Blizzard staff. Doesn’t seem like they’re utilizing that money super well either way. Or, maybe we’re making an argument for 30 dollar sub fees?
I just thought that it was interesting history. Tell me if it wasn’t relevant to the thread, and I’ll take it down.
Australia just had their monthly fee up’d.
No they didn’t, it was the same thing they did to us Canadians a while back, it’s on par with the exchange rate now.
You know when they changed the pricing for us, I really didn’t see all these threads.
edit: Also rofl they paid less than everyone else for years.
Is it higher than it previously was?
…
It shows as 20 per month for us, has for a few years, and usually we actually get hit for about 22-23.
It’s not higher, it works out to 15/mo american. What everyone should be paying. You do understand that prior to the shift that Aus. was systematically paying much less.
You can play this game for free by DOING professions and selling the results on the AH. I do it. My friends do it. No reason aside from laziness on your part that you pay for this game with cash. /thread
Oh, thanks for agreeing with me. I have NO idea why you bothered responding to me.
You asked for an example, I gave you one. This isn’t a debate, the thing that I stated is a fact. The things you’re stating have NOTHING to do with anything regarding what I’d said.
please, have a nice day.
your points are flawed and you sound silly. Go to bed.
Tell me, how would a new player do that exactly?
Oh, which ones?
/ThREAAdDDD
lol stay mad kid
This isn’t a win, it wasn’t an increase in the sub fee, all they did was have the exchange rate corrected.
Dude, I am not your enemy here. I am just telling you when I saw 15/mo, I was actually charged 22-23, same fees when they upped it to 20 for Canada.
But best of luck in SL, hope you can relax a bit before hand…
I’ll do my best, thanks.
You asked a question, I answered. I don’t know why you asked if you didn’t want an answer. They are spending more money for the same product. I’m not taking a side here, I don’t particularly care either way.
1 buck less but no access to classic. I’d be ok with that.
spending the same value as everyone else. Not our fault their money is toilet paper
