My friend has beta access and with the template gear it gives you, Death Sweep without any synergizing talents or buffs does 1,162 damage versus Annihilation’s 1,142. However, Blade Dance still does considerably less damage than Chaos Strike.

Is it a bug or glitch or what? Because on live in pre-patch my talent says First Blood increases Blade Dance damage to 1226 against the first target struck. My chaos strike only hits for 567 damage.
I have to believe it’s not working as intended or else why take the talent? The whole point of First Blood is to make Blade Dance into a single target burst ability to use on cd in between chaos strikes, right?

I should add that the stats were considerably lower. If I recall correctly, mastery was around 20% on the beta, and on live it’s 42% (for me). Chaos Strike scales with mastery and Blade Dance does not.
