Consider them equip/proc effects from gear like back in vanilla/tbc. Only that they are amorphously applied to your character and do not require a specific gear slot.
Only that they usually have tighter synergy with a specific spell or situation, rather than being some generic get hit with X then you do Y.
The issue with them is not what they do (they feel a bit too unseen for people) but that the gradual increase in their strength is not something easily discernible. And for most people they could genuinely avoid the whole system.
Lastly people really only care about potency conduits aka the damage or major focus ones that tie into the conduit ability. I think right now since we reached the bottom we have 3 potency slots for most soulbinds preferred paths.

If you collect all the ones you think you don’t need then that reduces the pool of ones left for blizzard to give you.
Like right now before the WQ rewards increase renown perk you can have all 200 conduits for a character by doing WQs and getting the callings box. It’s not bis but it helps characters get at least something eventually. And even though we will have ilvl increase later on, there is a numerical cap to what conduits can have in 9.1 (278 after having 252 plus the enhanced state we are just now getting with beyond 60 renown).

Hello, this is a great change. But what’s the possibility we can make these BoA too? Grinding Korthia rep on another toon is simply way too much of a grind, and trying to get an alt 252 conduits, even for just one spec, will still require months of Torghast.

Not quite. I have nowhere near all of my base conduits at all on my second hunter and I’m not getting any conduits out of my calling boxes. None. So that route is not working I’m afraid.

I just spent mine this week too >_<. can you do something about us who don’t have are unholy specs yet. I can’t keep up to players who do and it sucks because it’s pure rng. I can’t kill sylvanas without it.

You might be right. I did get the conduit upgrade from the the other 12 vault.
So perhaps it is a guaranteed drop if you do both 12s.
Or are you saying it drops as long as you do both wings at any difficulty?

The best thing about this post is the absolutely zero acknowledgement of those who have recently just dumped thousands of artifact research. Why not just send everyone who has used the consumable a free one for each one used.

I have only done layer 12 wings solo the past four weeks it has been unlocked in Torghast. For me, the 252 conduit upgrade consistently drops from one of the two layer 12 wings after killing the Adamant Vault boss on floor 7. Either it drops on the first or second wing I did each week.
That is what I am trying to find out is the drop rate is less doing a lower layer 9-11 Adamant Vaults. I think I am still going to do the layer 12s each week regardless. It isn’t as hard once people have more gear and unlock more talents from the box.
