Make Cats Great Again

It’s like the same 3 people asking for buffs without doing any testing in this new phase.

Is it similar to that?

Did you even acknowledge the class has a bug that hasn’t been fixed or touched since the launch of cata?.

If they even fixed that id guarantee you see less activity in here, but the class is clearly ignored.

Cata is ignored.

That was part of the process, and you can mention intended design all you’d like…

Giving ferals a ridiculous glyph that gives a 100%, guaranteed, predictable proc on OoC for casting faerie fire on CD is silly, and there’s no way that that is originally intended design.

Not that “intended design” is a meaningful thing to say. Some of the most wonderful things in any game or system are things discovered by users that weren’t intentional design…

:woman_shrugging:

Yet 4 classes have been fixed through patches in the last 4 weeks.

Then the feral bugs might be moving up on that list

To give you a comparison , tooltip for wrath showed clearcasting procs of all abilitys, and it did not, it only procced of auto attacks and gift of wild. So if they didn’t introduce fff glyph they would have done it another way by simply increasing its rng.

Bearweaving was not intended at all, and they made it clear through their official post.

Warrior got a nerf, warriors submitted github , it got fixed in two days.

Feral and rogue submitted github, it’s been opened since may.

I got ele shaman t12 2 piece changed.

I made 1 thread, I didn’t spam the forums with 20 threads.

I also didn’t complain about something that isn’t going to be an issue this phase which is your damage, since feral is going to be strong.

You sure did. That was a very nice post indeed. Well done.

You weren’t the only shaman complaining about this. Most shamans knew t12 would be an issue without changes

Well if that was the case then why did Feral sit at F tier for the last 6 months?

But they should have buffed the class/spec with in the last 6 months of preforming at F tier!!!

100%

What do you mean its not an argument? everyone benifits from weapons that is majority of the time the biggest upgrade in damage out put followed by trinkets.

But feral is impacted more then other classes!!!

Druids dont have a rotation they use a prio list. Which effects our damage output!!

nor is it intended in Cata blizzard said they didnt want bearweaving to be a thing.

including shamans getting there OG T12 2pc back that is a 10% damage increase!!!

Because blizzard most likely realized buffing you again would be a mistake since it was in wotlk.

Blizzard is on record saying to post more logs for more data because that’s how they balance their game.

The Sims have your best weapon and you’re doing 40k DPS, which is why the weapon argument is irrelevant, it’s already factored into your damage profile…

T12 2piece directly buffs bearweaving tech as well, it’s like blizzard has two heads.

It’s more like 3-4%

Shamans were prepared to change glyphs for t12 because of the bad t12 design, now because of this they don’t have to anymore. It scales even better, they’ve said this on shaman discord plenty of times.

Yeah it is not intended to be used in the game at all and yes you are right especially with maul adding the 4% dot it pushes feral to bear weave even more to keep that maul dot up since i dont think shred dot will stack.

Fire ele does 10% of your damage for the time its up!! Now its up 100% of the time its going to be more then 3-4%

Can you be more specific?

Which glyphs would we change?

Intended design does matter.

" Greetings,

Within the next 24 hrs we will be making an adjustment via hotfix that will cause Omen of Clarity to always trigger when Faerie Fire (Feral) is used on non-player, non-pet targets. At the same time, Omen of Clarity will no longer proc from Gift of the Wild. This change is intended to smooth out Feral DPS gameplay for most players and resolve many of the social and gameplay challenges that were created by the so-called “Bearweaving” combat strategy. In many situations, Bearweaving not only increases the mechanical complexity of the class to a degree far above what was intended in original Wrath of the Lich King it also places a strain on the raid to keep up with the Druid’s added threat generation, with said impact continually increasing as the Druid becomes more adept at optimizing the rotation.

When crafting this change, it was a goal to ensure we did not “nerf” or decrease the effectiveness of the Feral DPS spec in PvE at all. It was also a goal to not increase the effectiveness of Feral in PvP, where the spec is already strong. Our final goal was to raise the relative skill “floor” for the class without too greatly increasing the output of Druids’ playing at the very highest levels before this adjustment. With this adjustment we expect that the best Feral DPS players in the world may expect somewhere between a 5% and 10% damage increase depending on the encounter while no longer requiring shifting into bear form to optimize output and will provide an even larger percentage increase in the damage output of those players who were not employing the Bearweaving rotation prior to this change.

As always, we are hesitant to make major adjustments to the basic playstyle of many classes, but we feel that this is necessary to bring the gameplay of Feral Druids much closer to the intent from the original Wrath of the Lich King and make the spec slightly more intuitive and approachable to the majority of players.

We appreciate all of the feedback we’ve received since launch on this and many other topics. Thank you!"

That’s not how it works.

You’re basing it all off of the first snap shot which is the best snapshot.

You don’t know what you’re saying.
