It doesn’t even matter if they don’t buff the class. As long as they fix it to mono-cat instead of bearweaving.
Bearweaving shoulnd’t ever be a thing.
Bearweaving is a clear sign that feral druid cat damage rotation is not properly working and should get some type of fix, wether it’s fixing the bug that’s already there, or changing clearcasting procs or energy regen or reverting the swipe damage big nerf , or reverting the snapshot nerf during og cataclysm on ferals. ( Nefarions world’s first 25h kill was stacking ferals back in og) then they later got nerfed.
The FFF Glyph is merely a band aid solution; Blizzard needs to address the fundamental issue of energy regeneration for ferals. If Blizzard implemented a passive similar to the Rogue’s Venomous Wounds—where energy regeneration comes from bleeds instead of poisons—it would resolve the energy regeneration problem and eliminate the need for bearweaving.
It’s not a bandaid solution. That’s your opinion. If it stays permanent on classic it’s a permanent solution (the item id still exists in cata, it simply got removed from player access. )
I do agree with energy regeneration being affected from bleeds, but this could hurt if you are forced to swap targets, where fff helps in aoe (No more bearweaving trash and swipe when oom on cat energy aoe fight) , high mobility fights and also helps with energy issues, this also helps when swapping from target to target , make’s losing bleeds not as punishing because you can start your rotation faster and get your savage roar and rip up asap without depending on bleeds energy regen.
Let rogues have their own thing, we can have our own thing.
That being said, anything to fix bearweaving is nice.
Well venoumous wonds works like this When you have Rupture or Garrote on a target afflicted by your poisons, Venomous Wounds grants a chance for each tick of these abilities to restore 10 Energy and deal additional Nature damage
So if blizz made it so that it worked with mangle or FF being on the target and we got energy from everytime our bleeds did damage or when we used mangle or shred rake ravage or our bleeds did damage this would help in target swapping situations
And while in some contexts, it may well be more meaningful than others, I would flat out reject a claim that the gimmicky change they made is inline with any original intended design for wrath feral playstyle.
One can’t really tell how meaningfull the intended way of playing a class is.
But , would you agree bearweaving has clearly been stated as not indended, and it’s just hypocritical to see it comeback when it was stated that it was in fact not intended. Meaning that in its current state, mono cat it’s portrayed that the class is being ignored when it was clearly stated that bearweaving is not supposed to be a thing ,and it literally came back stronger than ever.
You are right i was just tyring to be more versitile and allow more options for energy regen from more attacks that where not bleeds. But that are used threw out the fights.
Bro every person eventually comes across a fight that they won’t excel at because the fight isn’t good for your class and spec. Presenting this cope just shows that you are either too ignorant to understand how to be a better dps, and thus the gear will do nothing, or you really couldn’t care less about balancing and just want to be strong by any means necessary.
Paladin and Druid mains, can’t name a more whiney class of players.
Eren is coping about how “oh once we’re in t12 we’ll need buffs because the fights aren’t going to favor us because raid lead mean :(“
To which I responded with that there will be fights that screw over someone because their toolkit is not designed well for that encounter.
Keep up man, I know your brain has rotted from spewing out “I’m bad so I needs buffs pls I don’t care that gear will make feral come up to speed I still demands because bad” but the rest of us have no issue keeping up and I’m not slowing down for you.
Pretty sure i said i have said this numerous times and used that for the reasoning for using T11 logs data as it is concrete data not hypothetical possible damage. But hey glad you are able to understand that.
The warrior bug that got “fixed” was opened in pre-patch, fixed in pre-patch, never marked as fixed, and so some other intern broke it and shipped it to live. Prot warrior was going to lose 1600 dps this phase even with a full set of upgrades. So all they had to do was revert that individual change. That’s not the same thing as what you 3 keep screaming for.
Feral is going to scale, wait for your T12 and new trinkets to roll in.
