[Main Thread] You have been disconnected. (WOW51900102) Jan 24th

Holy smokes, this worked for me.

I was able to switch servers after I got logged in and then going to an empty server with no chars of mine. From there I could navigate to my regular server.

It could indeed be a function of the server you default to. I’m on AP, a much smaller server than Stormrage.

This gets into some pretty specific aspects of their architecture. Blizzard still hosts their home servers but the instances and world servers are all Google Cloud. Could it be between those two? What’s fronting a “server”? Does it even matter? I have a feeling it doesn’t.

We just don’t know enough.

That they are using SSO is almost certain, since we don’t re-auth to the game directly. That’s why I thought this might have some potential.

Good luck.

This is total BS, they had all day to work on the servers and they still can’t fix them.

You might want to go into your CMD prompt window on your computer and refresh your IP. I did that, so maybe doing both these things helped.

On your windows search bar on your desktop, type “CMD”
it’ll bring up a black window.
Type: Ipconfig/release

A long line of text will come up, after it gives you another blank command line.
Type: Ipconfig/DNSflush

then try to boot up battle.net and see if it shows you any servers

just got a que to show up dont know how that managed to show up this time but still got the error message lol

I’m in! Finally!!!

I feel bad at being at the bottom but if anyone sees this, just keep closing down the battle.net client and starting fresh, over and over. wait 5 sec @ connecting to server, if nothing happens, close everything and try again. You will eventually get in.

yep…cone all this too, as well as a scan/repair on game, re-booted my computer…

nothing seems to help, and I NEVER have issues…so…I dunno…
least I know I am not the only one tho, there are a big BUNCH

so yeah after i got the que to show up i got in on the next attempt so maybe the que popping up is a key?

Can confirm, these last two steps allowed me to login.

Restarted my game and now cant get back in

Deleted ‘Cache’ folder and I got in. Heart to gain traction for others. I’m on Stormrage Retail

did you try the ipconfig stuff and then do the thing I posted earlier?

  1. Click on “Change Realm”
  2. Click on any “Low” populated server
  • It will bring you to the ‘create a character screen’
    -Click “Back” (bottom left)
  1. Click on the “Full” Server you are trying to login on.

I hope this helps. It worked for me as I was always brought to “Proudmoore” Server but was trying to switch to my main server which unfortunately both are “full” servers. I guess you can’t switch from one “full” server to another “full” server, so you have to go from Full > low > Full

Worked! ty

just FYI, I dont think any fixes people will mention will work. This is a waiting game. Just keep hitting reconnect, eventually it will work.

Work for me. I am in. Everyone go into your retail folder of world of warcraft and double click the icon. Enter your credential and play!

I do not even get to the realm list…it stops doing anything b4 I get to that part, and I get the error code…there is now a notice tho that says they know there is an issue (code) and they are working on it. So it must be on their side.

If it helps the Blues, I got this information after finally getting to the character screen and attempting to connect:

ERROR #132 (x85100084) Fatal Exception!

Press OK to terminate application.

hmmmm I didn’t run into that problem. I was just having trouble switching servers, it kept logging me out every time I tried to switch.

Maybe see if someone else is having that issue and see what they did. I know different issues have different solutions, this is just what I did to fix my issue with server switching but I’m sure someone has troubleshot the issue you’re having. sorry fellow gamer that I cannot be of any help in this situation (T.T)

I have had an authenticator for ages. Got that error and had to unclick remember me, and manually type password in, then it asked for authenticator number, entered in and got in.
Also checked battlenet log here. and you can uncheck authenticator and it will send sms instead, but two friends without phone numbers added to account did not have any trouble.
