This is happening to me non-stop on my Illidan character (literally non-stop… connect, reconnect over and over, causing a very annoying fps hiccup each time).
It is not happening to me on my Alliance character though, who is on Sargeras.
Just by seeing who’s posting these reports, it seems like it’s a problem related to high-pop Horde servers, like Illidan/Thrall/Area52.
This has happened almost daily since the prepatch launched and I’m unable to log into any character for 30+ minutes to over 2 hours.
Same, I have 1 character on Illidan (US) it’s the only character I can log into. Every other character is on Burning Legion (US) but I cannot log into them. Super annoying…
Yeah this is annoying. There’s also apparently a bug, at least for me on Illidan, in that if you die to a player with war mode enabled, upon releasing your spirit, you get stuck in a disconnect loop.
My main server is Illidan, and I fell victim to a raid group of Alliance a few times with War Mode on, but didn’t run into this. Is it still happening?
Don’t know, I rage-logged off after it kept happening, then turned war mode off the next day.
Tried to launch WoW War Within through Battle Net but once it comes up, it says “retrieving realm list” and a blue bar is at the top but won’t load the next screen and doesn’t load the realm. Been sitting here for about 15 minutes. Anyone else?

Click the Log Out button on Battle.NET app and log back in with your password. Rebooting won’t help, but re-authentication will.
Tried rebooting -no help
Tried logging out of battlenet and logging back in -no help
rebooted no help.
logged out/ logged in of battle net , fixed it for me
Same issue…this has been the least stable expac I can remember.

Early access was great and smooth. Release on Monday afternoon was smooth. Even Tuesday was good. Things went bad today when trying to fix AH exploits and some leveling QOL issues which really were not.
Was able to get back in on my bank account. AH is still a bit pokey, but open at least. Finally got back into my main account. Picked the wrong time to logout to eat lunch 
it’s only been out for a week…?
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Leveling XP was fine. Now it seems people can’t get in to play at all. I guess they made it harder to level after all 
I get a realm list just my realm is not on it
