Hi Skelgarer, thanks for your feedback on this issue. Personally, I would like to let you know that this issue is only affecting my Blizzard games and services. Every other game that I play is not being affected. Please look further into this issue and if you need more information let us know so that we may provide the traces/logs that are necessary.

High latency might not be indeed Blizzard’s own fault, but after more than 15 years of providing this service and having a strong playerbase located in South and Central America, it became your fault for neglecting to create a cluster of servers outside of California (maybe in Brazil?) to which Central and South American players could connect to and thus reduce their in-game latency.
You have actually done that for Diablo 3 some years ago and that helped reduce my latency in that game from over 150ms to ~50ms. And that’s a game with fewer players overall and no monthly fee attached to it.
Why have you never taken such action with WoW is beyond me, but maybe you could ask the infra team in Blizzard to share that information?
Is the least we deserve as paying customers of your service.

that IP is from madrid spain… how does that have anything to do with NA servers?
It seems like Telefonica is having issues in Spain too. Everything is fine in Germany for me, but as soon as it tries to jump to Telefonica in Spain to get over to the US, I have issues.

it seems they dont know how to read, because many people are telling them that it happens ONLY WITH THEIR GAMES!!!
El problema esta en una IP especifica que le pertenece a Telefonica International Wholesale Services II, S.L.U. 81.173.106.21 , si se fijan en todos sus tracers y demas, la conexion se empieza a perder en esa IP, telefonica es main carrier de gran parte de los ISP de LATAM es por esto que muchos pero no todos tenemos este problema (el cable submarino que usa nuestro ISP es el de telefonica) lo mas correcto seria reportar el problema a cada uno de nuestros ISP y hacer cargamonton hasta que ellos lo reporten a telefonica y por fin solucionen el problema
Skelgarer I think you didn’t read the part that only blizzard games have this issue while other games not. So yes I understand since lockdown we may have some lag issues but we are in ‘‘stay at home’’ for 1 month and this problem started today.
Blizzard please help us, it’s been hours since LatAm players can’t play none of your games.

Hay algo malo entre los proveedores de inet de sudamerica y blizzard, con unos amigos tenemos el mismo problema que todos ustedes, yo tengo movistar, y el problema partio hace 2 semanas, especialmente entre las 9pm y 11pm hora de Chile. Lamentablemente es solo un problema con los servidores de blizzard, todos los otros juegos, ps4, youtube, netflix, etc funcionan bien (dada las circunstancias de que hay demasiada gente en casa) ayer en la noche empezamos a tener mucho mas lag de lo normal y hoy despues de la 1pm ha sido imposible jugar wow, overwatch, hearthstone. Que blizzard no sepa que ocurre es otra cosa. Ojala que esto sea temporal, pero lo dudo

My Provider works fine with Netflix, Youtube and browser. It has to do with Blizzard on Latam, here from Colombia.
Please address this problem properly we are paying you.

Here’s mine. I’ve been having +3k in WoW only - I’ve tried several times throughout the day and it’s always been the same - the only games I’ve had issues with are from battlenet.
Now i’ve even had issues with the websites and everything… it’s really frustrating.

Ditto here. I am with VTR but I play on US servers. There is a random lag. I inspected the incoming packets and it starts with spurious packets being resent by the server. I think it started yesterday or a couple of days ago, but it is especially prevalent tonight.
