you must not be playing in war mode lol

It’s not a graphics problem, even looting is lagging. It’s server lag, not frame drops.

Hi! I see that Blizzard is investigating the Azure span lag ~ I hope that it gets fixed. Its near impossible for me to solo as a mage. <3 I came here to report it, but seeing as blizzard knows
no point

I refuse to play in War Mode. I will quit playing altogether before being forced to play in war mode.

I’ve experienced insane lag for the last two days in Azure Span. Still just as bad today. Hope they fix it soon.

Glad to see you guys are working on it. I know this kind of issues take a while so please keep us updated.

Open-world PVP always causes these problems. It’s not a WM-only problem, because the area flags you when you enter it, so it’s “always on” and affects everyone in the zone.

Brand new customer service rep, “Don’t make me go to the forums I don’t want to have to explain that we don’t have an explanation”

Coworkers with tenure (of which there is what, 20?) "No we drew straws, you lost so go in there and tell him it’ll be up as soon as we know anything and then leave quickly"but if you position it like you’re ‘awe shucks’ and then bounce, you’re good.

I’m not even in war mode and that’s not the correct answer. It’s been going on for 20 years now or whatever and they have never once changed their strategy. You can’t tell me a company like Blizzard, doesn’t know what’s coming when they release a new X-Pack

Please don’t think what I’m saying is attack cuz I’m not attacking you I just disagree with that explanation it sounds rather 'slow pitch’easy to hit a home run with

Nine hours later, the
 lag
 is
 still
 bad.

Wish you luck with the investigation; otherwise, we’ll see how it behaves after tomorrow’s reset.

Go on, people. Continue buying the one year subscription and give them money so they can laugh in our faces while doing nothing to solve this issue.

Any luck figuring out what’s going on here? Pretty sure it’s NOT the cooking event, since the lag persists even long after it’s over. Perhaps Cobalt Assembly?

Regardless, it’s taking basically 7-10 sec for me to look things, and there is about a 1s lag when casting or using abilities. This is making things extremely un-fun :frowning:

Yeah, the lag is immense. 1.5-2 seconds for action response with 50ms latency.

I’m just glad its being investigated, Lots of folks in area chat complaining, Thought it might be int speed but the world latency was only 30 when what I expected was like 160.

as I said before poor management no update responses from the Developers like I said before I hope this changes under Microsoft’s management and they let a lot of these useless people go that don’t make management better by giving updates

Just providing a followup that we are aware of this. Our devs/engineers are investigating the issue and are working on a long term solution. There is no specific ETA but if we get any specific updates, we will share them here.

Seems much better now after the reset.

Yeah the lag is worse now after maintenance. rubber banding, load screens, no npc spawns, no flight responses. basically stuck unless I hearth out.

The customer service rep closing all the other posts about this with a " Please see the consolidated discussion here" statement posted a link that leads to a 404 error

I seriously laughed when I saw that
seems like a typical Blizzard response
