18 years later and they still seem shocked that so many people want to play a new expansion at the same time when it first releases.
Azjol too is having problems with the lag out there.
It’s not even worth logging on to try to push to 70.
Hopefully the devs can get this fixed during the downtime. Extend the downtime for that matter.
If not then I can play something less frustrating until it is fixed.
This is honestly unacceptable. A whole zone is near unplayable because of the design of their Community Feast. Please fix this Blizz. Increase the sharding for that zone or whatever you need to do. It’s completely ridiculous right now.
Any indication that this will be fixed after the reset? This is unplayable and I can’t even level my character like this. Dying to trash because I can’t react in time is not fun.
Coincidence. I don’t have war mode on and the lag starts whenever I enter Azure Span and stops when I leave to another zone.
I’m currently playing a fire spec mage and honestly, it’s not playable. Like many others, I use my guaranteed crit spells to confirm a hot streak after a normal cast crits, but with the lag, it’s a real PITA to know if I’m really confirming a hot streak or not.

Because its not always on blizzards end posting in tech support does alot more then posting here. At least they can take a closer look there.

Lag is Azure Span IS on Blizz’s end. It’s happening due to the Soup because too many people are in the zone at once.
It’s just like SL when people were fighting, say, Oranomonos, only it doesn’t end after a few minutes because the raid is over and when people leave the raid they go back to their own server.

Considering this is happening to tons of people on each server across multiple servers, even low pop ones, this is totally on Blizzards end. Between quick farming of gnolls, the soup pot, the Cobalt ring, and apparently a bunch of good rares it’s a heavy zone.

The lag is insane. Besides the soup, people are super farming the foods for the flying fox mount from the gnoll camps and hyperspawning and it’s causing such a huge delay. Blizz has to do something to fix this.

This was incredibly short sighted on Blizzards part. This zone is damn near unplayable and they haven’t said a word about it.

I don’t know if this helps you at all, but I noticed that when I turned off War Mode, my lag completely went away.
of course I would expect nothing less of no response from blizzard it’s just the way management is hopefully this will change under Microsoft

over Six hours later no update ?
I doubt there will be one anytime soon tbh. It was really laggy like this on beta as well.
